Defense attorney 🤔💭 I think I will just object to everything see what sticks. Maybe making tons objections will confuse the jurors .... yes Brilliant 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄
@tinameyer70804 жыл бұрын
Every violation of the rules of evidence must be objected to or is deemed waived. Objections made- but improperly ruled upon by the judge creates a potentially VALID REASON for appealing an eventual conviction. I understand its "annoying" but the defense attorney is making an appellate record so....just doing his job.
@mindymiljour46724 жыл бұрын
@@tinameyer7080 why does he feel this evidence violates the rules of evidence? Maybe I missed this?
@tinameyer70804 жыл бұрын
@@mindymiljour4672 He has made different objections. Lack of foundation-means that the proper foundation has not been made that supports asking the particular question. Hearsay means that a person is testifying to what someone else said- not themselves. Leading means that the lawyer is presenting facts in his question that have not been previously attested to designed to get a predetermined answer. Argumentative means the lawyer is no longer just asking questions to get to the facts-but is essentially arguing with the witness testimony. Asked and answered is when a lawyer asks the same question multiple times which is a harassment to the witness. Requiring a void dire of a witness occurs when they are testifying as an "expert"- their qualifications must be in the record or they are not allowed to share their "expert" opinion. There are several other objections as well- but you should get the gist by this explanation. Have a great day.
@gadaleantudor3 жыл бұрын
@@tinameyer7080 Yes, but he's just winging them. At this point he's just trying to throw something and see if it sticks. Also, the constant interruption cofuses the jury and massively slows the course of the trial.

1:15:57 these photos show what Mark was referring to in his interrogation when he said that Theresa said the MESS in his office would lead to a divorce. He disrespected her in life and then murdered her bc she didn’t like it.

He doesn't even look at the photos that are being shown of his wife on the floor he just keeps messing with that tablet and writing and funny how he's not crying when these pictures are shown for his wife he's just crying because he misses being free and his home he used to live in

He’s such a sociopath. I can’t believe he killed this beautiful successful phenomenon woman. Obviously he wanted the money but he could have just divorced her and sued her for 1/2 of the trust fund. He would be living high on the hog with the money from the trust and would never have to work again. Plus, the poor children would still have their mother. I really am stunned he organized this heinous crime.

Why are they getting the witness to show the Jury photos ? Don’t they have a Clerk?
@voraciousreader33412 жыл бұрын
The clerk doesn’t show evidence to the jury, especially when medical evidence is being attested to. The photos were obviously deemed too graphic to show the jury and audience on a projection system, especially in consideration of the victim’s family. I’m actually glad the medical examiner handled the photos as he was asked to do, bc I would surely hate for the horribly graphic photos to be made public....thank God they weren’t shown!

Finally the murderer is paying attention, clearly his attorneys had words with him, if I was on trial for my life I would pay attention to every little thing, but he is clearly guilty
@quamby1able4 жыл бұрын
Exactly!!! If I was guilty or not, I'd wanna convince the jury in every way possible....and writing profusely without eye contact is not one of the ways to go! 😎

I thought you were not allowed to have phones in Court? Why is the woman in glasses behind the defendant on her phone eg texting or on the internet
@maryb66723 жыл бұрын
Every courts rules are a bit different. Many judges will allow audience members to have their cells, as long as they’re not trying to take pics etc.

Objection, foundation on the DEFENDANT'S SIGNED STATEMENT?? Cmonnnn

I find it very unprofessional AND annoying when a witness is cheery and smiling, tossing hair etc. because there are family members of the decedent right there in the court rroom who are grieving the death of a loved one. She acts like it's a photo shoot!

How come everybody got a promotion that were on this job just as Coroner report and this were police investigater get involved?
@voraciousreader33412 жыл бұрын
Five years had elapsed since Teresa Sievers was murdered when her murderers stood trial and were convicted. A whole lot can happen in five years, and, since every officer who testified was excellent, it’s not surprising that they would have been able to pass their tests (written, verbal, and sometimes even physical) and be in possession of the necessary references from their superior officers. The way they handled this case may have been a factor in their promotions, but, since they were promoted _before_ either trial had commenced, they obviously couldn’t have been as a result of a conviction. I don’t understand the part of your comment where you mention the coroner report and the police investigator, sorry.

Question. If you were being charged with a murder that you didn't commit would you be writing the entire trial instead of paying attention? I know i wouldn't be. I would want to know exactly what evidence they could possibly have against me when I'm innocent?!! I would be listening to every single word from every single witness. But i almost forgot...mark is not innocent.. so he wouldn't know that.

Michael Mummert (Sievers & Wright missing Triplet) needs to end his newly found "specialty" of being a criminal lawyer! He did this case then plastered it on his website knowing it was his 3rd criminal case ever, which only 2 went to trial & his FIRST ever contact with a Death Penalty Case! I think Siever chose him just to see if he could trip ppl up with his dumba$$ 🙄
