Do this to protect your mower deck. When you finish mowing, clean off the debris and once a year address any rust on the deck.

A little tip for after rust removal and before you paint...Wipe down the surfaces that you intend to paint with isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol. That will remove most residues that may interfere with proper paint adhesion. Good channel BTW.

Use a socket ratchet with an extension and no socket. I think its a 3/8.

That did the trick! I finally modified it with the rubber hose changed oil filter air filter spark plug and added new oil. Now it doesnt want to start no crank nothing. I checked the bottom safety switch to see if its tight and it was, now I dont know what to check. It started when I warmed up for the oil change

@@petedymond Peter! The solenoid and the battery connections were burnt rusty. I ended up replacing them all! It also had a fuse with 5 which i changed for 20. As soon as I put everything back together it turned on right away!

@@petedymond I purchased this mower used and the last owner bought the wrong batt and im guessing the connections were rubbing off eachother that it burnt it. He had a right positive side batt so the connections were all together , i had to take it apart. The right batt shouldve been left positive
