Brett, Joel & Colin take a look at the latest release from Leadbetter Guitar Co {Colin’s Guitar Company)
A short run of incredible Eastman SB55 LP JR style guitars with Lollar P-9s and Faber Bridges made there way to us at the Leadbetter Guitar Co workshop. Due to issues in the original varnish finish, the guys hand sanded the varnished top coat of the body away, relic’d the colour coat to give the feel and look of a much older players guitar, then applied a new ultra thin custom Vintage Matt Clear with 0.7% yellow added.
These guitars are seriously good instruments, the now feel old, look great and are a whole lot of fun.

These lil guitars are pure rocking machines. I like them just the way they are, and you can find them as low as $1000 in the used market. Everything you need nothing you do not for rock and blues.

Proud owner of one of the Leadbetter Tokai LP Jrs. With the Filtertron. One of my favorite axes, sounds great and plays really well.
