I am so sorry that is happening. I have not seen anything like that. If you document properties are set to the correct size, your image fits within it, and you are prompting your printer to use the larger paper, then I am baffled. You could upload Silhouette Studio Basic Edition and print from it to see if that helps.

I have never used a Chromebook but I did do a search on KZfaq for "how to install Inkscape on the Chromebook" and there were videos available. I wish I could be more help, but I just don't have any experience with Chromebooks. Sorry about that.

That is great Stacey!!! I tried it a few years ago and hated it:) Then, they did an update to make it more user friendly and that made a lot of difference to me. Now it is my go to software.

Since your image is 24.75 inches long and your paper is only 19 inches long, are you going to split it and print on 2 sheets? With Inkscape, I make sure I have the correct paper size selected under document properties, and then everything you want to print has to be on top of that paper template. Anything not showing on top of the template will not print. If you are doing all of that, I'm really not sure what the issue would be.

I never use the print preview so I'm not sure about whether it works on my computer or not. I make sure that the image fits on the document size, though.

When you click print, is the printer set to print at 100 percent? And if you are turning your image sideways, are you printing using the landscape orientation?

@@MakingwithMarilyn Thank you for responding! I have asked so many people about this and you are the only one that has responded. I'm not sure where to check to see if my printer is printing at 100%. I leave the orientation of the inkscape document as portrait, I turn my image to fit the document and then print. I have made all of my images this way. I have just recently started having problems with my images not printing the size I set it at and I can't figure out why. I was thinking inkscape may of had an update in software and that my previous settings don't work now?

@@MakingwithMarilyn printing a tumbler wrap for 20 Oz tumbler. I got file in inkscrap and I followed your steps but you showed three red dots to close screen and my didn’t show dots. Then I got image in the square (letter size) then when I printed the image it did not print right size

@@jenniferhardin6977 I rewatched the video and don't see three red dots. Are you talking about how to close the screen where you selected your paper size?

Seems as though a lot of the comments are having the same problem with printing from inkscspe.

I'm sorry you are having such bad issues. The only other thing I can think of is if the scale somehow is set to something less than 100%.

There are 2 things I can think of that it could be. Did you set your paper size to the size of paper you will print on? Is your design within your paper template on the screen? If the answer to both of these is yes, then I don't know what it could be. I assume if you are printing something else, the colors all work? So sorry I can't be more helpful.
