I was out at the V&T in December, 2021 to get footage of the V&T's Train O'Lights and Candy Cane Express. This is extra footage, I'll admit it's not the most compelling video but I wanted to post it for the V&T fans who like this kind of stuff.
Someone will probably point out that I'm mis-naming that trestle, my apologies, I forget the source I read with a great detailed study of this area. It was probably part of the Virginia & Truckee Railroad Historical Society vtrrhs.org.

If this is December 2021, then how come McCloud 18's tender is sitting on a siding?

Well it is Dec, 2021 for sure, I didn't own a drone before that and haven't been back since. I don't know why it's there, I'll try to find out.

The locomotive was what they call "Winterized", meaning that the water was totally drained from the boiler and a heater set up at the mouth of the firebox to dry everything out for Winter storage. Not entirely sure why the tender was removed for this, but it does make it easier to access the cab, especially with larger tools and machines, such as the tube heater that was set up in there.
