At about 11 minutes I saw you realize what we all remember in the 80s and 90s. That slow dawning that 'Ive never seen anything like this' comes at a different point for everyone. But if you watch him, that realization will come. He's different. He just is. With the age old eye test hustle, Michael is not only the basketball GOAT, but the American professional sports GOAT. He was so iconically above his own game, that great players in other sports get called the Michael Jordan of their sport. That catchy 80s Gatorade If I Could Be Like Mike jingle, actually echoed 90% of kids and teens at that time. We all wanted to be him. We would all watch Come Fly With Me and run outside and try to copy all the ridiculous shit he would do. And he was sooooooooo smooth. His game was poetry. The defenders were actually playing great defense on him, and he was still making shots. Some were even fouling him like crazy, and he was still making them. He creates separation so easily. I watched the Bulls religiously when I was a kid growing up in Chicago. What the current generation doesn't know is that teams actually feared playing against MJ. They had no idea what mood he was in. If he was angry at your coach, an opposing player, a negative comment a local newspaper made about him before the game, etc. literally anything will set MJ off and give him a reason to drop 50 on your head and then he would sit out the fourth just to gloat at you from the side. Players were tripping all over themselves and running into each other on a regular basis because they had no idea how to contain MJ. Even if they stack the box with big men, MJ wouldn't care and just jump into the crowd and you better move or you are going to get a knee in the face. An article in Portland said that MJ wasn't as good a shooter as the local hero Clyde Drexler and MJ came out and hit 6 three-pointers in the first half of a PLAYOFF game even though MJ only attempted less than 2 three-pointers per game and shrugged like "Not really sure what came over me" but you know it was a massive "F.U." to the media and deflated the Trailblazers during the game. He was a machine. His motto was "what you can do, I can do better." Who fears playing against Lebron? He might show up to the game or not due to "load management" and sit there and blame others if his team loses. MJ never let his team down. He would never walk out on them. He never gave up and his team never wanted to let him down. He was feared by everyone.

No matter what, Mike would put on a show and leave you scratching your head or picking your jaw up off the floor at least once every game. LeFlop James had to hop teams and setup rosters to win rings, and even with 4 more Finals appearances, he STILL aint got the rings or the resume Jordan has. A true GOAT comes through in crunch time, never quits, and never makes excuses. He elevates his game and the game of those around him. That switch hand layup against the Lakers is underrated without context: it is his 13th(!!!) straight field goal in the game. By the time of that play in the game, there was nobody on the court but Jordan. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, 12 buckets WITHOUT missing and then he hits that layup. Imagine that.

@@nimboneah1 Facts. That's what old heads mean when they say 'you had to be there' ... you gotta imagine tuning-in to see a dude people are hyping as GOAT stunting like that. And then grabbing 6 chips by by the balls, MVP. It's not fair to compare anybody to that. He stole so many souls. The guy didn't know how to lose in the clutch, FR.

@Drejeremiah ... I've watched other reactions on MJ's videos. I like yours cuz you actually pay attention to the amazing plays, you replay, and describe play by play. I never get tired of watching MJ. I agree with the others heres, there are so much more of MJ's amazing plays. I also like the compilation of his defensive plays. FACT: His first Olympic gold medal in 84, BEFORE he played in NBA, he and his olympic team (all college students) played EIGHT exchibition games againts ALL NBA players. The olympians won ALL eight games. This was when college coach Bobby Knight said MJ is the greatest basketball player he has ever seen. An announcer said something similiar. You may want to check the videos out. Thanks for the awesome reactions! :)

Grew up watching MJ. He was the only reason I watched NBA. Jordan could literally do everything on the court. He NEVER quit on his team. LaKaren routinely quits, lazy af and choke monster.

Someone asked what it was like back then. I’ll just say we got the Chicago station and I never missed a bulls game because I knew no matter what Michael Jordan was playing, and he dominated pretty much every game I watched. He never took the day off. He was like this superhuman presence the entire country felt, at any given time. We knew Michael existed and we knew how fortunate it was to witness his career. Sometimes I think people today deny how fantastic he was, simply because they are jealous that they couldn’t be there. And I completely understand that. I’m sorry to break it to You, there will never be another Michael Jordan.

They falling because Mike was strong in the post. So when he hit you with the fake he would knock you off Balance. He used to lift weights before games.

The reason why Michael Jordan retired after he won his 3rd championship was that his father had been murdered. His first love, when it came to sports, was baseball. He had accomplished everything that he could in the sport of basketball, so he decided to go back to his first love

Enjoy watching all these Goar highlights. But I'm old enough to have seen all these games real time. Nothing like it. Never seen anything like it before the 80s and still haven't seen anything like it since. Kobe is the closest thing I've seen. And that still doesnt compare. Alot of greats I've had the pleasure of watching play. But MJ it was a honor.

If at all there was a player who could justify or even top the moniker 'His Airness', it is Michael Jordan. Jordan tops our list of players with the highest vertical leap of 48 inches. This to go along with a hangtime of 0.92 seconds

@FreedomFighter21122 ай бұрын
Hey Dre, just some info on why Jordan could dunk so easily is because he had a vertical leap of 48 inches...which is higher than Ja Morant, LeBron, LaVine, Kobe, Wilt, and Dr. J. Most people try and discredit this because they think Jordan was actually 6' 6" but he was actually on 6' 4"...look up Jordan's actual height. At that real height is why it looks like Jordan floats in the air. In addition, his explosion without having to run and dunk will never be matched. But if he actually ran, his 48 inch vertical would allow him to fly

45s rhythm was off. Mike knew his timing was off slightly. But my God, he took the whole off season and corrected it. And was so dominate when he came back that the league celebrated when he retired after 98’. Mike was so incredible … it’s almost like he was physically and mentally designed for the this.

Jordan was at a pro golf event doing an interview a while back, he said his legacy had been cemented at 35, he was enjoying retirement, golfing, gambling, doing jordan stuff. He paused for a bit and proceeded to say, he cant say that can he? Coldest shit I've ever heard. Bron will be 80 and still chasing jordan😂

I watched Jordan play on TV and watched the Bulls win all the championships when I was a kid. It gives me CHILLS to watch these highlight films. I don't watch much NBA anymore. I checked out the LeBron highlight vids to see if I was missin anything. Naw man. NO chills. He's good, he's good, but no chills. In my times . . . EVERYBODY LOVED JORDAN. It was a treat, a show, an experience, to watch Jordan play! Michael Jordan . . . MICHAEL JORDAN!!! It's a synonym for GREATNESS! Anytime someone is truly GREAT at something, They are the MICHAEL JORDAN of ____________ (fill in the blank) NO ONE has EVER carried that GREATNESS like MICHAEL JORDAN!

Another 1 watching the highlights witnessing a small fraction of how great Jordan was. Bird, Magic, Kobe, Kareem, Lebron are greats, but only 1 🐐 can exist..its Jordan and no1 has come close enough yet..he was on such a different level, he changed the game and people watched JUST to watch him perform.

MJ is the FACE of the NBA to the Many Millions of NEW Fans, WORLDWIDE, he drew to the Game. STATS mean SFA to those FANS,many who got sore Jaws from their Chins hitting the Floor,just AWE Struck by the Wonder that was MJ. Still,my favourite player in Allen Iverson. Loved watching him Play.
