FINALLY! Every fix I've heard is for WHISTLING. I don't have freakin' whistling. I have that vibration, but I have a soft top Jeep so it's 100x WORSE. I honestly thought it was the soft top vibrating, not the bar vibrating (and being amplified by the soft top like a drum). THANK YOU. Saves me the hassle of UNinstalling and returning it.

Buying some of that stuff tomorrow! I just installed a 52" curved bar on my f150 and I was getting the same vibration! It was so bad I could feel it in my feet! It's unbearable!!! Thank you so much!

You saved the day. Tried this out earlier and before the road test, I removed all the business card shims I had stuffed around my overhead climate control panel, which was the where the vibration was most noticeable. Sure enough the buzzing and vibration is gone. Much appreciated!

wow.. i'm going to try this out.. great video.. i'm having same problem with my Nissan Navara NP300.. i'm using a MICTUNING lightbar that have a bullet like lens cover. but the when above somewhat 80kmh which is about 50/55mph.. vibration starts to kill everything.. even the roof sounds like it's going to tear apart. by the way, i mounted my light bar on the roof rails. hope your tutorial helps.

Just went out and did it! It worked and the vibration is gone. I got away with 8 feet of door trim but I think I’ll put a l little more in the middle. I didn’t go across like you did...I was worried about the cooking.

Thanks for the info. It helped a little but didn't eliminate the problem. Still vibrates to the point that it cracked my windshield. Remounted it three inches further back to see if that helped. No luck. Anyone with anymore ideas?

Tried several variations of this fix. Nothing worked even a little bit...

Nope. Didn’t work for me above 40 mph. I went with Vinyl floor base.

I tried this and it still makes noise. I even tried putting it in every slot and still makes whistling noise. Its driving me F'in Insane!
