Attacking the legs is one of the most effective things you can do in fighting. Whether we're talking about striking or grappling, most people aren't prepared to defend the lower half of their bodies, and so you're almost guaranteed success. Today, we're going to go over 8 (really 12) different types of leg kicks, and talk about their various applications in fighting and self defense.

My go-to street fighting kick is a low stomp-kick to the knees. Closing the distance and breaking the knee is a quick way to end a fight. Great video!

I've watched a couple of your videos on low kicks,well done. Did you make any videos on low kicks for self defense utilizing the shoe to do things you wouldn't do with a bare foot.

@@CombatSelfDefense coz i once used it in a street fight and got ot checked and I had put all my power ino it then my leg had a surging non stop pain in it. I had to punch him in the throat to get away

@@mickeyscents9094 you realize that no movement is 100% effective 100% of the time, right? The jab is one of the most effective punches in boxing, but is easily parried, blocked, or slipped. Fighting isn't a Mega Man game, you can't just enter a certain move and expect it work every time. Also stop getting into street fights.
