Christian Fry i was totally thinking about this a week ago cuz i played it again and it would be even awesome if you would see him in his vampire form. But its true we have never seen him as a human with good graphics so its gonna be a mistery forever :D

Sadly this won't happen. Idiots who own the rights to LoK games think the franchise is too niche and won't bring them any profit.

Only problem I can see with that is, as he tells it in the intro, he had no redeeming qualities as a character before the events of Soul Reaver. He just spent the past 1,000 years wiping out the majority of the human population, probably without much meaningful resistance, on behalf of Kain. So the best you could do with that from a writing perspective is a "filling in the empty space" story ala Blood Omen 2.

How is that any worse than soul reaver 1 whsre we got "for 1000 years i helped wipe out hunaniry but came back for a genocidal killing of my brothers because i had daddy/general issues, who i let live"​. The strength of the series is no one is shown in a good light. You have the anti heroes vs the villains. Just because one side stunk less, didn't mean they smelled good. @yewtewbstew547

when i made my first email i used raziel as the beginning part of it (it includes other names), and when i made my YT account i made sure to change my background to Raziel! only reason my picture isnt of Raziel or even my username, is cause i love assassins creed, and Sticky is a nickname i got from friends

He's not trapped he is the blade, He is the devouring spirit inside the blade he is the Soul Reaver. That's why the physical blade always try to consume him and why the blade shattered when Kain tried to strike him with it.

OK rhat would have been awesome. They were willing to put just about anyone else in, and they made way more sense.

Сюжет перемудрён не в лучшую сторону. Сперва морально деконструировали Каина после чего он хоть убей не воспринимается как основной протагонист а скорее как меньшее зло относительно старшего Бога ( причём с большой натяжкой). А потом физически слили Разиеля который был найболее явным протагонистом поскольку ему легче всего сопереживать и ясное дело что сюжет зашел в тупик его просто невозможно было нормально закончить не введя следующего протагониста поскольку проще создать нового персонажа и сделать его главным героем нежели отмыть Каина после всего что на его вылили.

Так что сама игра требует перезапуска с переработкой сценария но лучше бы не в эту эпоху поскольку мы знаем чем это закончится...

The story is great but the gameplay aged not very well.

I know this is old, but I'm replying anyway. First, Square Enix (as in, the game dev branch that made Final Fantasy and whatnot) would not be involved in the development of Soul Reaver. They're just publishers for the western games, namely for the games by Eidos. Second, LoK is not the franchise that wants flashy over the top combat, and this is coming from someone that loves flashy stuff. There's a time and place for everything, and LoK isn't one of he games that would benefit from that. But yeah, dual analogues and more comfortable control scheme is definitely up my alley. Also, ofc, new models and new textures that remain loyal to the original concepts, as well as updated animations and, for the love of god, no degradation of the atmosphere. That kills the game.

We'll see.
