Wildfire was my favourite LSH characters.

The Legion was one of my favorites. The Great Darkness WOW .Paul Levitz & Keith Giffen were a great team. Some of the best stories of the time. Drake was one of my favorites. Long Live The Leigon.

Drake is a guy who Dawny LOVES. That was always massive to me, it's like " He's reduced to pure angry energy and this wonderful ethereal girl loves HIM" . I know that sounds lame.

Great video! I love this character and remember reading that origin story issue many times... I also liked Ultra Boy despite the fact that he could only use one power at a time. His crenellated boots were funky too! Maybe you can do a feature video on him sometime. So many great characters in the Legion...

In Brazil, Wildfires was called as PULSAR. A much better name in my opinion. I loved this character as a teenager in the 80's.

It was two heroes in TT that were called StarFire. The one that was around in the early days of was a Russian Hero called Starfire(1968). It was changed later when Kory aka Starfire came around in the 80s.

One thing to mention: Wildfire's original costume survived the explosion, but Wildfire avoids using it because of its one-of-a-kind status. The subsequent costumes created by Brainiac Five were not as good as Wildfire's original.

Hi, Bruce! I love it! Thank you for doing this. So few a US citizen & DC fans cover LSH. It's my childhood memory too - though I was & here I am in Indonesia. After 4 decades, still LSH i love the most. What you do reminds me of my late dad who brought some comic novel when I was 5. I still remembered that clearly. And my first memory of LSH was when he read a LSH pocket book in bed. I wondered what he's doing since he was so relax & focus reading it. So I joined him. But since I couldn't read at that time (maybe that's the reason my writing is like chicken scratch), I was just pretending I did understand the story by observing his eyes & head move from the top, left to right and to the bottom and repeat the same action until he turned over the page. The image is forever in my mind as the young Superboy, in flight mode along with so many super heroes. Almost 4 years ago, I found that cover image again, in the internet. I just shed tears with those memories. The title of the pocket book is Superboy & the Legion of Super Heroes. It was the young Superboy smiles facing us while Ultra Boy, Element Lad, Light Lass who are closer to him, and others, Princess Projectra, Lightning Lad, Dream Girl, Star Boy, Shrinking Violet, Brainiac 5, Wildfire, Collosal Boy, Sun Boy, Cham, Mon-El & lastly Timber Wolf (just a half part of his image) - all fly go the sky facing up right side. With the tag on the below right side -- 'The peace-keeping force of the 30th century joined by the grratest super-hero of the 20-th century." Too bad I couldn't find the book anymore. Nor I didn't remember what the story is all about, either. So I wonder if ... And if you are willing, and if it's possible for you to cover the story inside that comic novel (aka the pocket book) in your future video. That would be terrific, incredible & so beautiful.
