LEGO Powered Up App Update: new controls for star wars bots & new coding environment [English|HD]

The newest update for the LEGO Powered up app adds the new design to the coding canvas that was announced a few years ago. Additionally, now it contains remote control options for all 3 of the LEGO Star Wars Boost Droid Commander robots.

your videos are helpful with my train driving and stopping :) Question how can i make 2 hubs run and stop so they don't collide on the tracks?

@@technicmaster0tutorials i have 2 trains with a color sensor when my first train is at the switch and reads blue I want my 2nd train to run in the opposite direction and when it reads blue on the 2nd switch I want to run my first train again I get the first train running and the 2nd as well but the color sensor I can't get to work on the other train

@@Rob1815201 Did you use the hub select block for the other train? Did you check the output values of the color read block to see if it can read the colors correctly?

@@otamatonegaming But like do you get any values when you have a distance sensor block that you don't plug into another block? Also make sure to select the right port.

Thanks for posting this video. I thought I was going crazy because everything looked different. Would you happen to know why my motors won't stop rotating? Doesn't matter which port I use. Maybe I used a code I'm not familiar with. Do you know which code make motors continuously rotate? Thanks in advance.

Are your motors rotationg continuously or are they not?

@@technicmaster0tutorials yes, they are. But I don't want them to. Even if I change the port or even if I change the motor, they continously rotate. That's why I think it's either a bad battery pack or I'm coding it wrong.

@@burngwngs You're probably coding wrong. The motors shouldn't turn if no program is running.

@@technicmaster0tutorials that's what I'm assuming but I triple checked the creator's instructions and it matches perfectly. Maybe I'm not seeing something. Doesn't help that Lego changed the way the codes look on the app.

@@technicmaster0tutorials the color changing one the one that like I can has the eyeball on it that you can make it like the train stop at a certain color

@@sherriegholt You mean the color sensor that can sense colors? You can use it the same way as the color & distance video. I covered that one in "Lego Powered Up Tutorial #04: first steps with the (boost) color & distance sensor".
