BIO:
Arthur Meyerson is recognized as one of America’s finest color photographers and a highly sought after workshop instructor. He has traveled throughout the world and all seven continents photographing for advertising, corporate and editorial clients. He is a three-time winner of Adweek’s Southwest Photographer of the Year award, as well as being named one of the 30 best advertising photographers by American Photo.His photographs are exhibited internationally, appear in numerous publications and are part of several permanent museum collections. Arthur’s highly acclaimed book, The Color of Light was published in 2012 and his latest book, The Journey was released in 2017 to much praise.

Wow, after watching this I now understand that Arthur Meyerson is my favorite photographer (I never really had one before). This was a great conversation and I thoroughly enjoyed Arthur's insights.

It's really difficult to think that some pictures werent prepared, as this with the kids playing soccer, with a lot of details, but on other hand it is too complex to set so many things. Awesome, a great master.

Sameer it's not the tool... use whatever you have and make your images ... from your heart!

Most photographers of Leica take bad photos and I have seen a few iPhone photos that are not great but legendary. The tool is just a tool but if you don't have passion and creativity you aint taking good photos never mind great or legendary ones.

I totally disagree with his attitude to cropping. Sometimes there's only one small aspect to an image that is interesting and if you don't have a long lens you have to crop. If you didn't that interest may be lost in noise. Take no notice of his advice...In fact it takes a more observant photographer to see those small but highly interesting parts of a wider view.
