Welcome back to the Scrap Mechanic Challenge Mode! Today we are in the challenge mode builder, building our own challenge pack! With the ball spawner and ball socket items, we can make an actual golf challenge that requires the player to hit the ball into the hole in order to complete the challenge. So let's make a series of golf holes that get harder as they go! If you all like this idea, let me know and maybe we will keep adding golf levels on to the challenge pack.

ScrapMan, you can type /help in chat. There are useful options: /enable_sledgehammer true /enable_handbook false And so on. Might be useful to remove the chest with hammers

Yeah where they each make a course in a time limit and then whoever does them the fastest wins. Or they could actually keep track of hits if they can spawn this in creative.

flying you can do with The Modpack beta or The Modack (zero gravity press shift and watch him fly)I cant remember , more building blocks again with mods

Make a complex mini golf stage, where the ball has 3 tunnel holes to choose from, and the bottom lower platform, you see the ends of the tunnel holes, but the player wont know which hole will line up with the goal. LIKE SO SCRAPPY BOY SEES!!

Scrapman, DEFINITELY make this a series!! Imagine adding ball elevators, bunkers to avoid, using spinning wheels in the ground or walls to either accelerate or hinder the ball, piston powered ball pushers, secret doors, boobie traps, ball launchers, bridges, tunnels.. I could go on and on; the list is infinite!!

What about instead of golf make a pinball course? Build into the course the bumpers you need to maneuver the ball. Or make a challenge that is one of those ball mazes you need to tilt to maneuver the ball to the end of the maze? I am sure there are many ways to build such courses so they can be played from a control platform or from on the field with the ball.

if you did it right, on the "last" hole you could get through the windmill and land on the piece that is supposed to split the course, then you could hit off of that and directly into the hole. [maybe]

I believe you should have a challenge theme series where you and your fans build themed challenges sort of like the medieval fantasy world.

Totally continue with it. Build a full 18 Hole course. One idea would be to add light tan colour bunkers. They can be down angled like the hole to a central flat area (safe) but also leave one spot a void that the ball can fall through

Hey ScrapMan I hope you see this. I played a game as a kid called Screwball Scramble. It was a cool ball maze board game with controls for each section and different obstacles to get through. You can see it on youtube. I think it would be a great if you could make one in SM. It would probably have to be a giant creation operated from a seat rather than a challenge mode creation so you'll need the ball spawner mod pack.

There should be a challenge finisher part, like the starter one, but when activated you finish the challenge, so you don’t need to be in a certain place

It would look a bit nicer without the switch next to the ball spawner, you can do this by just placing it somewhere else and flicking it before you save (switches stay the way in the challenge as rhey were left in the builder).

You should make a vehicle that hits the ball and counts the amount of strokes (it will be pre built before the challenge starts).You should make it so you can not edit it so that way they can’t cheat.

The problem building minigolf in ScrapMechanic is that your method doesn't have power control on the golf club and that is a huge bummer.

give the challenger a pre built creation to hit the ball instead of the hammer and put a sensor on it to count the amount of strokes or just count the amount of times he hits the button. Is there any way to spawn multiple balls with different colors, so it can be played by more than one person?

I really like this golf course idea but this is VERY EASY I would love to see more of these but could you skip easy, normal & hard & go to VERY HARD golf courses??
