For the Mentos balloon, maybe try putting the Diet Coke in a balloon inside a balloon containing your Mentos. If you do it this way, you can pierce them both with one needle and they will already be inside a shared space.

I always like to see "what Nicole has been up to" as Ben puts it. And you appreciate each other and his or her work. Oh I got my frog in the mail this week. I absolutely love the green and purple colour shift. He is my second frog. And I think that the drops on the frog make him look amazing.

You could hang the small rose into the larger rose mold like you hold a wick for a candle.

Hey Ben! Watching you guys get the eggs out of the rain, I was just thinking it may be easier to just have a cover or tarp that you can pull over the area when rain comes & then just pull it back when it's over, it'll save a lot of time (no back & forth). 😉🤔

Congratulations on your numbers.🎉 The explanation of the mysteries of KZfaq really was a great idea. Really enjoyed the video. Original experiments were with menthos and plain Coke, so nice to see them back. Fun experiment to do with kids, at the beach, no ants. 😂

For the small roses in the larger roses, could you pour a small amount of resin as a base and then set the small rose into place when the resin is partially set. That should hold it in place, I think. Good luck with the mennos and Coke. I hope you can get it to work.

Ben, my wife and I spent a considerable amount of time brainstorming different ideas to get the coke mentos to work. I think the balloon inside the balloon would work, except both balloons need to be thin walled. Possibly try the thin balloons used in making balloon animals? Also crush or cut the mentos into smaller pieces. Possibly try small transparent plastic baggies or balloons so you can see exactly where your poker is going. Lastly, for filling you balloons with coke, why not use the funnel that comes with the balloons, adapt it to fit on the coke bottle & give it a squeeze!

Ben, what about a balloon inside a balloon? Put the mentose in a balloon, then put that balloon inside the second gallon with the coke.

I think the Mentos has to be in the outside balloon to make sure both can be popped.

A flexible plastic tube into the resin, like the kind they use for a fish tank, that leads to where the Mentos are. It would allow you to pump fresh coke in. Use a turkey baster or a big syringe.

I have found that when I "paint" chameleon powder....or mica powder even...on the mold before pouring the resin, the finish comes out matte.

My idea is to generate a character, and draw scenes in a comic book style on one large sheet of paper of all the stages of their life. Seemed like a fun idea.

Could you put the coke in the balloon and then carefully place a mentos in the opening of the balloon. Maybe a bit of glad wrap to stop any woopsies.

Put the purple balloon (with the Mentos candy in it) inside the ballon full of Diet Coke. then a single stab will pop both ballons, and you won't coast the Mentos candy with resin, diminishing the desired reaction. If you put the neck of a ballon over a pipe (maybe a piece of 1 inch diameter PVC), and apply a vacuum to the underside, the ballon will expand to the inside of the pipe, so you can fit the Mentos into the ballon, and then tie it off under vacuum to create a small (less than 1 inch in diameter ballon), then repeat the process with the Diet Coke ballon while adding the Mentos balloon inside the Diet Coke ballon to create your "reaction envelope". At this point, I believe the issue is going to be controlling the resin (and Diet Coke/Mentos leak where the poker goes into the project. What I would suggest, is to be ready with a piece of vinyl electrician's insulating tape to cover the hole created by the poker as quickly as possible, then dropping the cup inside another unpoked cup to not only hold the tape secure, but also to capture any spillover of resin.

mentos idea: mentos in a balloon, don't tie the balloon, then put a second balloon into the first, fill the second balloon with coke and tie it off, then if possible, flip the coke balloon around a bit so that the knot isn't where you're going to tie the mentos balloon. then when you do the experiment, you can go in with the poker through the thicker area near the knot, so it doesn't pop right away, then into the coke balloon in a thinner part, so the coke balloon will pop all the way right away, and the mentos balloon should last longer.

Dot worry Nicole . I don't use gloves either lol Have you guys thought of maybe making candles in glass jars and adding a Resin dragon on the glass .. When the candle is burned they still have a nice glass container with a dragon on it , And looking forward to tomorrow .

Put the mentos in the smaller balloon then put that inside the balloon with the coke and that way you can pop at the same time

I saw a fun experiment you could try. Make a silicone mold that you can seal at both ends. Add a thin layer of resin then spin it on your lathe until cured to create a uniform layer inside. build it up in layers to desired thickness

@@leospitz6541 and there I was picturing the Easter egg moulds with chocolate being spun around to form the egg. Yeah I know chocolate, not resin. But I love the idea of producing a handheld snow globe without the flat bottom and no scene just the swirling motions. A nice curved feel and shape.

What about if you put the mentos in a balloon and fill with air, and inject thee coke at the right time ? Maybe half fill the syringe, when you insert it suck out the air then push the coke in.

I was thinking if you had one balloon inside the other with the Mentos on the outside and filling the inner balloon using a syringe if it would work. Hopefully you won't have to do that and tomorrow's experiment will work.

I wasn't sure if you said that was a koala 🐨 or a polar bear, but if it was was a polar bear they would look good on the little ice flow eggs too. Skulls 💀 are Awesome!!! I have all kinds as decorations and tattoos, I love skulls. I have a real snapping turtle skull a real goat skull and I even have a real human skull, but that one I keep safe inside my head. 😂😂😂😂😂 As for supporting the roses inside jedrek29t always uses like a tongue depressor UV resined to the bottom of whatever he is submerging and then balances it on something the same height on both ends and then just snaps it off when it's set. I miss our Kmarts around here it was a great store. I bought a lot of great things at Kmart through the years and really miss them. Great job on the views and up rating. 👍👍👍👍
