That stickout on that interuptive cut is really something.

It was pretty scary, but there was no way I could get it closer on this lathe. It was an interesting test of what the Unimat can handle, though the bigger AC motor made it a lot easier than it would have been with the stock motor due to the torque available.

I hear shorts are the best way to get down with the kids. ;) I prefer to explain things with more detail, but it's good to know I can explain a simple project in a way that can be understood this way!

Yeah, You need a center in that. Any time you are 2-3xD you need support, esp on a tiny lathe. Good otherwise good vid.

@@AdventureswithaVerySmallLathe I have that same machine. A buddy gave it to me with the milling column. I still gotta find one of the original wood boxes and a few other parts for it tho.
