It's distressing how accurate Laurie's hog sounds are. I'm beginning to suspect he might've been a MURDER BOAR this WHOLE TIME.

I really enjoyed Laurie in the role of the beast! When he became the de facto head of the channel, there were a few comments which said they missed him being the "dark, brooding anger in the corner". It seems like the NRB crew took that on board, and this game/set-up are proof of this. Thanks guys!

Maybe I'm missing something here, but with all these comments saying they miss Sully or that Sully is gone.... He was in the most recent House Rules episode, which was clearly shot after the other guy had taken his leave. He also recently commented on socials that he's back from Fringe now and is looking forward to doing more NRB content.

Great work by Laurie and the script writer (if different) on making a complex rules teach comprehensible and entertaining!

Just a few errors for those who maybe interested in this game. If Laurie plays a summons action he can only summon a new summon or perform a summons action. Also any card can be used to move 1 step, but it's the only action you can take.

I loved watching it and seeing Laurie go into beast mode. I have missed the more complex games, where I can follow the action. With the card games like "Lovecraft Letter" or "Smash Up" it is hard to follow, as there is no player perspective. Really hope there are some more games like this coming in the future.

Geez, that ended up being a bloodbath. I'm curious how this compares to Fury of Dracula, as it seems very similar. Fun play through, wish it was a bit longer! I saw the time after the first round and went "oh dear".

*Spoilers* for those that haven't finished the game yet I think the upgrade that allowed all of the Hunters and Settlers to move 1 space in the night, and the choice for all of the Hunters to get onto Laurie's square, is actually what did them in instead of helping them. Especially after the upgraded damage that Laurie got. Him being able to immediately kill one of them because they were in his square at the start of the 2nd round started the chain reaction that caused them to lose

Alright, I didn't want to write all the rule mistakes and oversights but as I've seen all those hunters dying I feel obligated to do so. Edit: this comment was too long so I've deleted my comments about minor mistakes... Firstly, whenever there's a summon action, you can either summon a new summon or use the summons that you have on board. So in the contract phase it wouldn't be possible for hogbad to summon a summon and then use all of the other summons. Which is connected to other things that happened later that day such as Adapt which allowed him to move 3 steps (one step for every summon...) Secondly, if Hunter dies it does not lose all of its upgrades (I'm pretty sure about this), so it's not exactly like a DnD. And lastly, Helga's upgrade allows Hunters to play a track as a reaction to the Beast attacking. Which means that tge beast would say that it attacks then the reactions can be activated and in this phase the Hunters could have played track to basically avoid the Beast's attack! So no dead Hunters day two... This is the true power of Helga. PS I'm also not completely sure if whenever Beast went over a settler there was a track placed on that location. Or at least the Hunters didn't seem aware of this rule, because they considered whether Hogbad could be on a location with a settler even though there clearly would have been a trail in that case. Edit: confirmed. Beast never put trails when it arrived at location with a settler... PPS Awesome playthrough! Please do not think I don't appreciate what you're doing because the entire video was very entertaining.

I've loved hidden movement games since I owned Scotland Yard (a LONG time ago). This definitely looks like a fun take on it.

I miss heel Laurie. He's been great as a host, but heel Laurie brought a unique vibe to the board game table only he can provide. Have someone else host so heel Laurie can make an appearance, perhaps?

I kind of miss the changing dynamic. I enjoy seeing Holly, Blair, Luke, and Laurie, but I do miss the rotating cast and song games played with more than 4 people. I think the best games to watch are the ones with a larger cast of characters. I know things are a bit chaotic behind the scenes, but I do hope to see some of the others in future episodes.

there are two game that I now want you guys to play, the first is fury of dracula because its hidden movement and someone can play as flipping dracula, how cool is that! the other is flashpoint which is a cooperative board game about firefighters trying to stop a house fire and save the people and dogs inside, specifically the dogs for people like blair or holly.

So. This is kinda like Fury of Dracula? I like it.

God dangit! I literally had a dream where I got an idea for a new board game of a hiden movement game where hunters were tracking a big cat and I was gonna call it jungle! I literally dreamnt of this game before I knew it existed and now im mad someone though of it before me! 😓

I will watch any and all games you guys play because I find you that entertaining, but any chance you'll ever get a dudes on the map type game on? Something like Kemet, Blood Rage, Rising Sun, Cyclades, or even a multi episode TI4 game?

When Luke played dark rituals, all 3 hunters should've gotten an ability back, but only he took one back.

BTW on 1:09 you should have put the track on the farmer. Each time the hunter move to a settler you put a track there. Won't matter since you killed the farmer afterward, but it's good to note
