Tina! So glad you could get away for a holiday! It is always nice to hear your daughter’s voice!! My little girl is grown up and married now!! I get to talk to her every day and feel truly blessed for that! I do miss her running around the house with all of her giggles!!

Cute, I love electic pages, I like to hear the excitement in your voice, as you see how the pages, come alive, and personally I can’t hear your daughter,playing, it’s just your end. Anyway children are life, so even if I could hear her, I wouldn’t really care, Loved the video. Thank you Xx😁❤️🦋

The collaged pages turned out great, and the darker painted background was a nice change from what is usually done. That fruit tart -- I so wanted you to put it atop the owl's head to be worn as a crown.

Sorry, but what I'd do to hear my son's voice again. He is no longer here on earth...just enjoy them while you can. I know you do but sometimes we all need reminders. Her voice is so precious.

Love the blue-green (almost matches my dining room chairs). Love the clock with the owl. Glue books are such fun although you manage eclectic much more cohesively than I.

Just a tip...Shanouki Art puts a piece of paper behind each page being painted to prevent paint from getting on the rest of the book. That would help spread out the work of painting pages. This will be very interesting, I can see! :)

Tina I also like the darker paint in the background....great idea! I did not hear any background noises on this video...but I doubt the laughter would bother me.

Ohh goodness luv, we didn't hear the kids !!! Ohh every time you hear them remember It goes away so fast. My goodness nothing better than hearing the kids around the house. Its deafening quiet for me now! Love how things turned out. Cheers

No need to apologize for house sounds! You work out of your home, so there will be background noise! Besides most people love the sounds of kids laughter! 🥰 Your layout turned out beautiful! For not wanted to really use the blue paint, it really turned out wonderful! The colors went together so well! Can’t wait to see more!

Jumping throughout the book for painting is absolutely brilliant! I remember you taught us that months (or more) ago and I had enough sense to listen and heed your words (which has not always been the case in my life 🤔😲😔, but I digress). I have used that technique several times since then and none of my books are wonky, so thank you for sharing that tip! I love the idea of an altered book JJ... just may play right along side! That's funny I've been doing that with an old "Changing Rooms" programme folder I found in the loft. I'm loving it, gets rid of all the odd bits I've got too. Love your videos. X

Great layout and loads of fun! Don't worry about background noise,especially from the children. Happy kids are the best. When I have to cut out the odd bits like the yellow on the little girl, I will cut between her feet and ship out the yellow. You can't see the cut when it's glued down. I rip everything with a craft knife.

I was thinking as I watched you cutting the images out, you said you might have to get a craft knife out to cut the little pieces out to finish the items. I was wondering if you might fix up a small bottle of your paints that you paint your pages, then you could use a small paint brush to just paint those places the same color as the background. It would just take a few strokes and it would dry in a snap while you were cutting other items out and be ready to glue on to your page. This is just an idea.... lol!!!! Your work is beautiful. I find it so calming watch you at work!!!! You were hearing your daughter more than we were...I thought it was sweet background noise!!!!!

Hello Tina, just a tip: You could make a scan or photo from the book pages that you like and print out all the images however you want...

Another gorgeous layout Tina and don't worry about your daughter making noise I never hear anything and if I did it wouldn't bother me ..oh and its the gluebook favourites six ...I also bought gluebook seven they are so lovely to use ....and give yourself more credit your better than you believe yourself to be I love your videos the longer the better xx

Tina, your work is lovely and inspiring. Try getting a finger craft knife, they are much easier to control. Amazon have them. Please do not feel you have to apologise all the time we all have families and other things going on so we all understand. X

For cutting bits out of the middle of images (e.g. the wee girl), do this before you cut round the outside as the surrounding paper will help to give strength and structure, less likely to chop off feet, etc.

I’m curious to know how this will hold up, I imagine the paint will crack and/or flake as the house paint is made for a rigid substrate not something that is being handled and flipped through.

I am really enjoying this video because I am a big fan of glue books. What’s not working for me on the left-hand page is the clock and the window. The reason I don’t like them there is because they appear opaque, and washed out compared to the boldness of the other elements.

Love this Tina. This is the first glue book tutorial I have ever seen. You have inspired me to try my hand at one. I have recently purchased some stamps and numbers that will come in handy for such a project. May I make an observation, I know that you have mentioned it before, and it is that you still use too much glue. You must really buy some of the small, long nosed glue bottles. It will cut your glue consumption and save you money.

I want to make a glue book but there are no magazines anywhere near me. I can get books, but even the thrift stores near me have very little or they are paperback. Magazines are even atrocious now a days. 😢Ugh I hate the concept of money ..everything is so expensive.
