Lets not meet stories aren't typically something I am a fan of but in this case I'll make an exception. In this video we will go down the reddit rabbit hole once again from a verified r/letsnotmeet story all the way to the details of one of the most prolific stalking cases in recent history. Enjoy!

This isn't the first time I've heard of a person w/ mental problems becoming obsessed with the number 33 and associating that w/ a soul mate. She's really eerily similar to someone I knew w/ some of these details. Makes me wonder if there's some goofy numerology shit online they're all reading. The psychic who told Ades she had the same birth calendar as Jesus should feel ashamed, you can't say that kinda shit to a vulnerable mind

There are some numbers which people use for scams like this. Fuck, I forgot the name as there are at least two names, might be the Barnum and Forer Effect, anyway people will throw names, numbers and other details at you until you show some connection to it. I work at a mental hospital. Psychotic episodes are always more or less the same for everyone. The people that come in and out that are psychotic always land in a couple of different type of delirium and the most common is religious and or things with patterns. It is very common for the psychotic people to say stuff like she says. And to be honest I rarely see a difference in the speech from the clinically insane versus the criminally insane..

I used to have a dear childhood friend that became schizophrenic with bi-polar disorder around the time we turned 19. He spoke just like that. He would also send scary messages like that to people. Terrifying but I think it's important to understand that they really see the world like that. Questioning them the way they did in that interview only solidifies their hallucinations. If you ever encounter somebody with Schizophrenia, please remember NOT to lead them on. You will not convince them that what they're seeing or thinking doesn't make sense. Do not ask questions like that. Don't make it real. These people really believe what they experience. It is scarier for them than it is for us. Genuinely. Change the subject. Talk to them about something else. Don't look in the direction of their "hallucination". I know that's a lot to read but I had to learn this stuff over a period of years and it was hard for me to understand. They're not all crazy. They're real people with real emotions and lives outside of that. Their logic is just a bit fuzzy and you have no idea what they're experiencing at any given moment. It's like a nightmare in your head always.

Criminal uses online dating. If you want to find love the best way is to meet face to face rather than online. Is so easy to create a fake profile and again men can meet as much woman for sex on a daily basis without having to commit. I don't believe online dating is a place for finding love. Is a place for prostitution, pimp, pedophiles and rapist.

And this comment was made 3 months ago 0OooO00Ooo! But in all seriousness, this is why schizophrenia is so goddamn scary, the part of your brain that reasons and takes in data and forms conclusions with it, just goes and goes and goes and it can make any number of insane concepts seem as normal as the sky is blue. Once when I was a teenager, I had a psychotic episode. I smoked a massive amount of synthetic cannabinoid "spice" and spent about 12 hours seeing insane shit like the visualiser on Winamp was "God's vagina", the weather person spoke to me using my name, and then announced so casually that there was an incoming meteorite storm and "Flim Flam, you need to go outside under the awning, take off your shirt, and lay on the ground so they can't hit you. And then the home phone rang and the person's name on the caller ID was the same as one of my drug-friends, and had a similar accent. It wasn't him at all, it was one of my little brother's friends. I must've spoke to them about some of the most insame, unbelievable shit that I was experience, so out of it that I couldn't tell that they were probably 15 years younger than the person I knew. He told his dad about it and thought it was a "prank call". I was embarrassed and mortified at the same time. He called my parents about this "prank call" and they believed that's all it was, having no context. Thankfully (I guess?) none of the adults really knew or cared enough about what happened to figure out that I was having a psychotic episode because of some godawful drug. I'm grateful that it was only temporary even though I have had other, separate and very different mental health issues. After all of that though, I wish someone would've cared enough to not instantly assign blame and insult me, and instead ask me what was going on and at least fucking TRY to understand or help. I didn't know what was going on at ALL and just having someone who gave a fuck would've helped. I know this is a massive amount of text for a goddamn youtube comment, but I've bottled this memory up for a long time. In the end, I'm almost grateful that I had this experience because it lets me empathize with and, on some level, understand people in psychotic or manic states. I feel bad for them because, I promise, no matter how insane it looks from the outside, it makes perfect sense to them. If you're able to get them meds, and provide a safe place, even just temporarily, **without** feeding into their delusions, please do. They aren't "crazy" or "psycho", their brains are playing a mean fucking trick on them and they're all alone in there. It's scary as absolute fuck, isolating, and if they ever come back to """normal""", EXTREMELY EMBARRASSING on such a deep level. Especially this woman here, imagine how you would feel if a stranger took over about 85% of your brain's ability to reason, and then you have all this awful shit happen because of it. Yes, she absolutely did some terrifying and unacceptable shit, it's just not as simple as it might be if someone did the same with a neurotypical brain. Thanks for listening to my TED talk

She immediately reminded me of Terry Davis when she started talking like that. This probably isn't right, but my first thought was that 0.33 is 1/3 which is representative of a triangle. I wonder if she has some kind of savantism where she can see the world geometrically with triangles like some of these people can. Unfortunately she's also acting schizophrenic. When she said "we're only supposed to count to 3.3" it makes me feel like she sees a simplified and calculable version of the world. But she could also just equally be bat shit crazy. Wish I could know

This case playing out in the US, it appears to me that some pertinent questions have not been addressed much less answered. How was this woman financing herself? Being a single girl as she states herself - where did the money/time she needed for her stalking and dating escapades come from? What if any job did she hold during the time she texted more than 300 messages/day for 10 months?
@MosquitoValentineNH

I know seriously! It was apparently 500 messages a day.. which means she sent one text every 1.92 mins for 16 hours a day, everyday, for 10 months straight.

For anyone interested, here's the outcome of her case. She was in jail for almost 2 years. She was deemed mentally unfit for trial and when offered a plea bargain turned it down, thinking it was the victim's way of testing her resolve, and that they'd eventually let her go to trial and find her not guilty. Professionals tried to mentally "restore" her for trial, and when they were unable to, they dropped the charges in March of this year (2020). They went with a ban on contacting the victim and a short stay at a mental facility. The article stated her lawyer was checking in with her parents weekly and that she'd be receiving additional treatment. Edit: It appears she passed away in 2021.

She is definitely schizophrenic, to the point where even a general physician would be able to make a preliminary diagnosis just by observing her. The reason there “are no records” of her being diagnosed is because a person’s psychiatric history falls under very strict doctor-patient confidentiality. Had she killed someone, chances are someone would have dug up her medical history for the news story, but it would be highly unethical for doctors to publish those patient details for any reason. Unfortunately, schizophrenic people very often have a characteristic tendency to take their prescribed medication for a long period of time, and then choose to stop taking it without consulting a doctor. The reasons they do this vary from person to person (a stressful or shocking event is one common trigger), but it’s a very common pattern of behavior in schizophrenic people, and one which makes treating them especially challenging. Based on the severity of her symptoms, I would be extremely surprised if she had never received psychiatric treatment and/or prescribed drugs to treat her schizophrenia. The OP’s descriptions and timeline of events would perfectly describe the up-and-down roller coaster type of behavior of a schizophrenic person stopping their medication and suffering a prolonged series of episodes as a result. You can’t just stop taking drugs like antipsychotics or even antidepressants cold turkey; your brain will not be able to regulate the sudden and dramatic change in neurotransmitters that come flooding back in, and that’s when psychotic breaks happen.
@SoSoMikaela

At one point, I lived in a group home and I had a schizophrenic roommate who did that. Knew the guy six months, one of the calmest and sweetest guys when he was on his medication. But then suddenly one night he came in my room and asked if I had taken his cross, and I was like..."your...crucifix?" And he just gave me a wild eyed look and left. Weird but whatever. But the next morning I came downstairs and the entire kitchen was scratched all to hell and there was a knife sticking out of the wall. Luckily since it was a group home, he was able to get the help he needed and spent the next two weeks in a hospital. Apparently he had gone off his meds about a week prior to that. And because of that they switched from him taking daily oral doses to injections every six weeks just to ensure he stayed on track. Pretty fucked up and scary but I can only imagine how he must have felt.
@charlieapples9373
@charlieapples9373 4 жыл бұрын
eat the rich Yeah, I agree that there are a lot of potentially sucky side effects to antipsychotics, but for some people taking them makes an enormous positive difference. But prescribing them is more of an art than a hard science, as psychotic symptoms can come in many different forms. What your doctor probably did was give you a sample of an antipsychotic, which is perfectly legal. Doctors keep small quantities of certain drugs on hand, which they usually get for free from pharmaceutical reps who go around encouraging clinics to promote their brand name drugs. He most likely was trying to “feel out” what the cause of your symptoms were. Treating mental illness is very often like a reverse game of Minesweeper, where you try one thing, then another, then another until something works. Even antidepressants effect people differently; some people respond well to Zoloft, others do better on Lexapro, etc. It’s all trial and error.

I'm not schizophrenic but I've taken antipsychotics before for seeing and hearing things that aren't there. From experience sometimes when you're on them for a long time you feel like you don't need them because you don't have hallucinations or you don't feel manic all the time and you begin to take yourself off of your medication. I don't know how often people who take antipsychotic meds do this but I know that my episodes were like this, only I was obsessing over one thing and truly believed I was better and that I didn't need my medication anymore. I feel so bad for this woman because she seemed so confused and all over the place. I went through the similar confusion she went through and I truly hope she is getting better.

My previous neighbour suffered with schizophrenia. He was constantly in and out of psychosis. One minute he would be calm and talking to me and moments later he would be screaming and shouting about nonsensical things and pacing about, clearly in a lot of distress. I had strong feelings for him and he inspired me to learn more about the condition. I had to leave the area because his "friends" (a bunch of kids who I'm fairly certain were just using him for weed, alcohol and a place to stay) started harassing me. It got pretty bad. It broke my heart that I had to move away. I still think about him, I hope he's doing ok. I love you, Danny xxx Apologies for the rant 😌

Watching her speak was terrifying. I had a room mate in college once that would speak just like that, linking numbers together from different aspects of his life and saying that they must mean something. Then he would start assigning all of the people in his life a number, and the different rooms of our apartment a number, and saying why which ones wouldn't fit. Then one day the campus police knocked on our door and asked my other room mates and me if we'd seen him around lately. We hadn't, and it turned out they had come because his mother called the campus police because she couldn't get in contact with him. He ended up checking himself into a mental hospital and not telling anyone, and just sort of returning from it a couple of days later. After that I was always worried he would just snap some day, but thankfully I've since moved out

My friend told me about his dads stalker that was quite batshit. The mother died when my friend was two years old in 1990, and his dad raised him as a single father/widower until 2004. He then met a cute and polite lady through a friend of a friend of a friend type of scenario, they went on a few dates and she had given him a good impression. He was quite smitten with her. One night my friend and his father awoke to a lound crashing noice, the livingroom window was smashed to pieces. On the floor they found a rock painted red that vaguely resembled a heart in shape. The police investigated the scene and found footprints all around the property, the peculiar thing was that the footprints were clearly from the culprit that had high-heeled womens shoes on the feet. This was odd as the weather was damp and the property was located beachside, thus the heels had sunken into the ground, probably making any movement of the culprit difficult and possibly even painful. No clear evidence or clues to whom the vandal could have been was found. The dad told his recent date of the incident during a coffee-date they were on, and she acted shocked and worried for the dad. He noted nothing that could allude to what was to come. A month after the incident the dad met a former co-worker at some social function, they had not seen each other in years, and soon the reunion lead to a spark of romantic interest from both parties. The dad decided to end the relationship with the lady he met earlier, as even if he did like her, he found her personality rather bland, thus not finding interest in pursuing deeper relations with her. He met the lady and told her that he had met another, and that he enjoyed the lady in company but was not interested in a serious relationship. She acted understanding and told him that she also had another man in her life. Someone she would dedicate her life to. They parted ways, and the dad thought nothing of her statement. This is when my friend reacted to a green hatchback car, as if from nowhere he had started noting that far too often when he was out of his home, the same car would be parked somewhere nearby. He was spooked and after confirming that he was not making it all up in his head, he tried to catch a glimpse of the owner. He never seemed to be able to see the car arriving or leaving, as if he was watched far too well. He told his father about the car, and they assumed it could be connected to the heart-rock vandal, and that maybe my friend had an vengeful-ex on his tail. Police were notified, and they quicly tracked down the owner with a license plate check. Long story short, a squad car was sent to the adress of the car owner, and a most eery case was discovered. The lady the dad had dated was the car owner. She looked nothing like how she had looked before. The police thought she was to using an alias to cover her tracks, but were quite disturbed when they connected her alias to the deceased mother of my friend. She was extremely delusional, she had somehow gathered information about the dead mother, and even found old photographs of her trough some unknown sources, then convinced herself that she was in fact the mother of my friend. When questioned by police she never broke character and insisted that she was only making sure her son was ok, and that she wanted to keep him safe from "criminal youth". She had become obsessed with my friend ever since the first date she and his das were on, and had stalked him long before they separated and knew names of his friends (mine included). The lady was put into an mental hospital, and i know nothing of what happened to her. My friend told me the story years later, i did hear some rumors beforehand, and i know that a mutual friend said he thought he is acting strangely. His girlfriend at the time (thought by his dad and him to be the cause of a jealous ex) freaked out badly and broke up with him. There is a more to the case, and also it has never been 100% concluded that the lady was the rock thrower, and none of the shoes she had at her apartement matched any footprints. Sorry for the long writing, rarely one can input topical stories.

Jacqueline is clearly very intelligent. She obviously understands math well and got fixated on a pattern she found, which could be a case of correlation not causation but with her delusions she followed the correlation and became fixated on it (the number 33). I think her formula she created is actually quite interesting (L=3.3 x E=MCsquared) as she's trying to prove her own delusions through a logical thought process. Really interesting case and definitely thought provoking.

I’m not a psychiatrist but I have a medical degree. From her interview I made the following observations: 1) She is clearly manic with classic signs such as delusions, disorganized thought process, as well as auditory hallucinations. 2) Pressured speech and laboured breathing is due to her manic state. Mania causes her to be super-agitated, impulsive, and unstable 3) Disorganized thought process makes her jump from one topic to another and is unable to give a coherent answer or story. It’s also due to mania. 4) If she wasn’t diagnosed before then she was simply misdiagnosed or undiagnosed. And just because no doctor came forward with her records (for obvious legal reasons), doesn’t mean she was never diagnosed with anything. 5) From her symptoms and the length of time she had had her symptoms, I totally agree with the diagnosis of schizophrenia with delusions and bipolar disorder. Finally, if you are or know someone with these symptoms and they won’t get help, please call the police and tell them that they might be a danger to themselves or others. That’s enough to get the cops to knock on the door and see how psychotic they are and they’ll take them to the ER for assessment. They will get help at the ER and be sent to a mental institution for further assessment and treatment. This is better than waiting until they kill and dismember someone and it’ll be on you for not doing something.

i don't generally make youtube comments bc it's always pointless, but i've got to say that it is EXTREMELY irresponsible of you to recommend people call THE POLICE on a delusional/psychotic individual. please do some research into how often police shoot and kill people in manic/psychotic states. in addition, the likelihood of someone with schizophrenia actually hurting anyone else is tremendously lower than the likelihood of THEM being hurt by police, medical professionals, family, etc. also, the only person who is responsible for a violent act.. is the person committing it. you giving people bad advice and then telling them that THEY will be murderers if they don't follow it is just beyond disappointing, especially if you do really have a medical degree. sigh.
@Sniperification100
@Sniperification100 2 жыл бұрын
@@ram00_ if the police are shooting mentally sick people it's a problem with how the police are handling it and they should be trained on the proper way to handle someone with a mental breakdown instead. It's more irresponsible to let someone with mental illness hurt themselves or others just because the likelihood of harm is low. Do you have any evidence backing up that claim anyway?
