Are 2mm rotors all hype or do they have a place on all bikes. Lets discuss and also I will share the details on MTX brake pads.

Currently running the HS2 rotors with mtx pads. How would you compared the 2mm galfer rotor against the HS2?

Just came across your channel, nice vid! Are you running a 2mm thick rotor on Shimano brakes? I have SLX 4 pistons and was considering 2mm rotors to have a quicker bite point. I'm also considering the MTX pads as well.

I am running the 2mm. I am careful to center the rotors though as the openings for shimano seem narrower than others

Great video mate! I am running Galfer 2mm rotors with xt 4 piston no issues. Also Magura mdrp worked but they started to come loose in the rivets. Wish I could easily get mtx here in australia to try

How are you liking that setup. I coincidentally just ordered the same rotors for my Code RSC - I already had a Gold MTX rear and Red MTX front! Best pads out there.. Ordered a fresh set to go with the new Shark rotors.

I am really liking this combo. It’s been the best performing combo I have put together. The pad life of the MTX are surprisingly great as well

@@RideEatWander I agree the MTX pad life is excellent considering the stopping power even on steep and wet PNW trails

These mtx pads get grooved easily by grit I found the cooma pink ceramic are much harder they don't groove that easily...
