Sir, I came across your video and enjoyed your meticulous attention to detail. I haven’t changed my oil in my GS350 FSport since I just bought it, during School I worked at a Oil change place and changed oil in several hundred cars, your explanation and care is very good, nice video!

I just wanted to comment and tell you how much I appreciated watching your detailed video. I don't have a GS F but I do have a 2022 IS 500 which has the same engine so this was very informative to watch. Thanks for taking the time to create and upload for everyone to benefit from this.

@@BulletsGarage I am absolutely in love with it!! Like your GS F, mine is also white but with the red interior. The red interior wasn't my initial choice but these were hard to secure so the best my dealer could find was a white on red and took it. I knew how great this engine was but words can't describe it until you own one for yourself. A test drive is not enough to appreciate the prowess of the power train. This car is extremely amazing to drive as a daily and so refined, until you no longer want it to be :)

Never usually watch a singular youtuber alot. But I'll tell you what. Your videos are all rather good. I'm looking to get a GSF once ive lost some points on th licence (lol) and when one goes for sale with the colour combo I want. Annoyingly in the UK these are super rare!

I also use Pennzoil Ultra Synthetic in my RCF. Recently took my car to the dealer for an oil change and told them to use my oil but they end up using Mobil 1. I was like what ever I will use the oil next change but next day found out engine was overfilled like a quart. I was so pissed and I told them to drain the whole thing and use my oil. What a difference u can actually notice the smoothess. Engine runs better. Pennzoil ultra is the best after Amsoil and its available at all retailers. I stock it when it goes like 40% off well worth it. I can do it myself as well but for resale valve I am going to stick with dealer just for the oil change for service records Atleast till my warranty runs out in 2021. I use it in my 2018 Ridgeline as well. I get better gas mileage too

I agree I'm not a fan of Mobil 1. Penzoil for tht win!!! The first time they did my oil change they over filled it also. I was so mad. Had to suction it out. I keep all my receipts as record of the job being done

I found a even better oil now. Quaker state ultimate durability has much higher protection then Penzoil and it's inexpensive

It happened to me. I wanted to change oil on 2002 VW Polo 9n at the remote area I go to get under the car, the oil filter is easily accessible in engine bay, but the biggest socket I had was too small. Luckly I didn't start with draining the oil, so I was able to drive and buy a bigger socket first.

I'm adding a Stahlbus oil drain valve to replace the oil bolt on my RCF. Should make almost a zero mess/dirty hand oil change. I normally use fumoto valves but I think the way the Stahlbus is designed it's best for our engine since the drain plug is so accessible.

I think Ratblog rated both valvoline and quaker state higher than penz, at least as far as 5w30 synthetics are concerned (higher psi during normal and high temp testings). Any thoughts on that?

I used AMSOIL SS on my GS350 F Sport, but now I had switched to TOTAL lubricants quartz INEO DYNAMICS. TOTAL lubricants were used in higher end and exotic cars. 😊

You are using very expensive oil for that type of car does not need it. Most synthetics changed out every 4 to 5000 miles are more than good enough and you could save a lot of money

Agree Totally on the Pennzoil Over Mobil 1,Just got A 2017 RC350- Of Course,They Refreshed the Oil Chge & Noticed in Manual 00-20 is Called For ,Seems Too Thin for High Perf.V-6 F Sport.But Will Also Try & Furnish The Pennz.Oil & Their Filter,If They Refuse to Use it.Used ,05-30w on my 04 ES330,& @ 166,500 MLS.on It,Doesn' t Use Any Oil,W/ Pennz.Ultra Syn.& Always Gets Better Gas Mlg.than Book Says it Should & I am Not A Slow Poke.

Thanks for the video man. Just bought a 2017 F and was looking for the proper way to do it. Do you happen to know the torque specs for the oil drain plug? I cant find them in the manual. The manual also states to do a brake flush at around 30k miles. Please post a video on that if you plan on DIY.

Convential normal oil is the spec, not synthetic. Is Lexus OK with this ?

Yes conversation is what it comes with. But everyone knows synthetic is way better. Offers more protection for the engine. And no dealer does not care. I had my dealer put synthetic in the car when I serviced it with them

ratblog is a source of many jokes on Bobistheoilguy forums. Interesting blog, but he does not make his testing method public. I would take those ranks with a huge grain of salt. What makes you think Pennzoil Ultra or Plat is better than Mobil 1? Pennzoil Plat is a group III GTL. Not all Mobil 1 are the same. Mobile 1 EP is majority PAO. But honestly, unless you're racing, doing short trips, or long drains Group III are completely fine. For my weekend fast car, I use Amsoil. For my GS350 2GRFKS, I use Mobil 1 EP in the summer and AFE in the winter. If it wasn't available, I wouldn't hesitate to use Pennzoil Plat or QSUD.
