The latest flagship device from LG the LG G7 Thinq (as it's officially called) is LG's latest attempt to save the LG G series. So, as is the usual here on my site, let's try and do a complete unboxing video of the G7.
If you're not familiar, a complete unboxing video on my site is a video where I try and go through every feature I can on a new piece of tech so you guys can be better informed should you decide you might want to go buy one.

Man you are killing it, I started to watch the video 7 minutes after I got the notification and we're already 150 views! Regarding the G7, I feel it's a multimedia oriented device, great DAC, great camera features, good specs in general. Nice walkthrough. Liked and share it

I'm so happy they provided a dedicated power button instead of making the fingerprint/power button combo. I love my G6 but sometimes my finger print won't register and then the power button won't turn the phone on or it will just lock it up. Great video as always!

Aaron I had issues too. When ever I wanted to shut down my phone, it would unlock it or not recognize my finger and just turn the screen on. I like the separate power button

Great video, made my decision easier. I was between the galaxy S9 or the LG G7. I'll be going with the LG for sure, the fact that they're throwing in a 42" 4k TV is a nice bonus.

Dear @TheUnlockr, Please tell me if the Cine-Log files are available without applied LUT, so I can grade them later. In some articles is said that the cine log is V series exclusive. I cannot see - save in LG-Cine-Log under the camera settings on g7 thinq. Also is it true that the cameras are recording in different bitrate? Thank you!

Does it have a LED for notifications? And with that LCD screen can it use always on display? If so, how? Isn't it too much power consumption?

Thank you for going over the camera. Honestly this phone is smarter than I am sometimes. I've taken some beautiful photos and I'm not even using a third of the available features. I love my assistant. I find it reassuring to know that the LG built in apps are quite good. See you soon.

Love these walk-through vids, in depth and definitely helps for purchasing decisions. Awesome job. (I've always purchased Nexus, Google and OnePlus - this LG is tempting, though)

Is it possible again to put a shortcut e.g. for Quick memo to the virtual buttons (Back, home, Menu) like on the G6? This was quite convenient for taking screenshots.

I really enjoyed the video because you kept your personal opinions to yourself. More youtubers should take notes because they clearly don't understand what it means to be objective and review products. I really love the power button/finger print scanner/screenshot combo on my Stylo 3. It's less buttons and less bulk imo so I'm sad to see the button combo going away. I'm still excited to get my G7 in a few weeks though

Still using the G3. Good phone but needs replacing. Considering the G7 or HTC U12+. I really want to like the G7 because it seems so well thought out. Some reviewers are not liking the camera AI though. I personally wish it had a larger battery too.

Great video! What can it block calls and text messages without leaving a notification that the blocked number you have blocked, is trying to call you. If you can test that out would be greatly appreciate it

Thank you! So it definitely can block calls as I see it in the settings. Usually with blocked calls on any device it doesn't notify you so I'd imagine that's the same here unless you've had a different experience with another LG in the past?

TheUnlockr. I have the Note 8 and that's what I do not like about it. Why block a number but when they call you still see it SMH. This is one of the phones I'm thinking about getting thank you again. Keep up the good work bro!

Maybe someone on here can help me with an issue I am experiencing with the g7. For some reason when I clear the notifications from the top pulldown, the number of unread/unopened message/mail/etc disappears. Anyone have clue on how to solve this issue?

It was either the pixel 3 or the note 9 the G7 or the v40 I want the v40 just because it spoke to me I love the new OLED screen it's beautiful and it just tops the G7s...
