Very cool! Was there 5 times between 82-85 and leave this Sunday for three weeks in Mindanao. It’ll be great to get back after 40 years!

Awesome memories. Was there a year 1990 to 91 with the marines. Was with CSSD35 at lower MEF camp.

My boat the shittyKitty hit the shores here in 1977. I was a Marine attached to the Kittyhawk and we hit Subic Bay a few times. What a place. When we went to Olongapo it was big boy Christmas. Remember the 11:30 club, Mojo, San Miguel beer, $hit river, and the live music was great. They sounded just like 70's bands.

Haha, was there many, many times in the 60's while serving on Tin Cans off Vietnam. Ole Olangapo we called it, Septic Bay, Arm Pit of the World w/out Deodorant. 😂

My ship Rodney M. Davis was there in 91 for Mt. Pinatubo.

...only 3 months before Mt Punatubo blew it's top June '91 forever changing the course of Clark and Subic installations. You saw the last of the good times.

😂 Yes Sir,,Good times.. I was there in 1985 ..A lady named Marcos came into power I believe..started a small civil war,, About 4am all the sirens went off and a million Hungover and Drunk sailors were Running to get to there ships!! That sucked!! I wasnt done Partying!! lol..same time frame,,they filmed Top Gun on my ship The USS Enterprise,,memories

Hey shipmate i served on the Camden too, 80-81, was a BT. Ship was homeported in Bremerton Washington then but was was ready to switch homeport somewhere in California i think.
