I figured out why I really like your narrations so much. I feel like I'm hanging out with a few buddies swapping stories rather than sounding like its read from a script or overly dramatic acting.. Makes the stories come to life and believable. You've definitely become my favorite channel.

That's a huge compliment Mad! That's really what I'm going for too. I took some acting classes a while back, and my teacher Sally would always kind of joke that I had an "onscreen read" because I was not overly dramatic at all lol. The other people in voice acting class would have the most dramatic, explosive reads hah. Really glad you like the channel style!

I agree. It's like listening to a friend I've known for years telling me something that's truly happened to them and only a very few narrators can somehow convey that sense of speaking to me directly. Btw remember me saying secluded and creepy villages with dark secrets are my favorite horror setup ? That's true with a single exception. Stories that take place in the Pine Barrens. I bet you can guess what story I'm racing to next. I've actually been to the Pine Barrens and it was bad vibes for hundreds of miles in every direction.

Haha Yeah he’s The best, and I love he didn’t fall into that sing Songy type of narration that so many of the other narrators do. He just literally uses his voice with nuanced changes without overdoing it. It’s really great I’m really grateful I came across this channel!

I've been hooked on your channel for a good while now. Growing ever more critic and attentive, to how they're written. Your narration is as epic as ever...but this story was so beautifully constructed, how his life was the actual horror story. Thank you for making these videos, Mr. Lighthouse Keeper! As a construction guy, worked hvac, the premise checks out. I've dealt with stranger stuff. Someone genuinely wanted a chicken coup in their crawl once. Someone else wanted access in the kids' rooms to access crawl incase of home invasion. Black widows or burglars is a rough decision but that's up to them.

As soon as I heard the first story you narrated I was hooked... then after a few I started to notice how the voices had some similarities then reading comments I learned they were all just you doing different voices. I was mind blown that you could do so many.. and I am an avid listener im always looking for a story that I haven't heard yet... if I don't notice a like then I didn't listen to it.. so thats my way to find the ones that I haven't heard yet... In my head I'm like yippee a new story well new to me..

And i would have to agree with um because how else does one cope and accept the fact that he is the only one left living and why? My thought was, "Get even," and go thru the doors to find out! This story reminds me of myself somewhat. Traumatic childhood, both of my parents died before I was 30. (21/27) My 2 longest, closest best friends in my life (20 years each) both died in 2020. I borderline personality disorder and I feel like I'm cursed too because everyone I ever get close to either dies or leaves. I'm afraid to love and be loved and so I say to myself, by myself with the exception of my 5 year old daughter who id burn the world down for. The one beautiful thing I haven't destroyed.

Potential SPOILER bellow: So on threat of sounding like an idiot the ending made me think it was a Santa Elf that did it. I was drifting in & out of sleep so ill re-listen alwhen im more awake. If thats true thats the wierdest plot twist but still pretty good. If im wrong then i was way more tired than i thought lol.

I like this story, but the ending was somehow weak. I would prefer an ending where the Main character discover for exemple that he was the one who placed the enveloppes and the photographs because he has multiples personalities. At the end he discovers that he was the one(one of his multiple personalities) who killed his family. that would be a bold end for this story!

Yeah this was a great story, I was totally into it and then well the end was a huge let down 😔 This story would have been so much better if it would have branched into a stalker type of story instead switching to super natural style at the end; just my opinion. I'd really love to hear it with a different ending ❤

Wait, wait, wait. Hold on. I have stopped at the portion where the HVAC guy sent the estimate back to the company to get the owners approval. And I had to rewind the portion where he was stating how many weeks it would take. Every time I listened to it (which was over a dozen times) I kept hearing 12, 002 weeks. That can't be right. Because 12, 002 weeks is 230.8 years. There is NO WAY that number is correct. Can anyone tell me what the correct time estimate was? Because this is driving me nuts. And yes, I know it's crazy to be hung up on that, but I am.
