Demos like this are invaluable to anyone considering open baffle speakers, particularly the DIY enthusiasts. But I have to say, for $520 a pair on the 18's, and a hundred twenty on birch ply panels, I don't know where you're going to get more sound for the dollar. I'm ready to go with the Lii 15s, but these are tempting.

Wonderful sound. Great speakers and one Magnific LM amp ;) Hard to beat that open sound

Did u need to use any crossover or it is just direct speaker cable from your Tube Amp to both F18 positive and negative terminal?

No crossover, cables from amp direct on the speakerterminals. Did make some use of DSP.

What does the size of the driver have to do with the size of the room?

Sonds better, than in your other video👍🏻 the floor an the room is not sooo perfect for hifi, i'm thinking 🤔
