Great reaction. I have been watching Ren busking in Brighton (UK) for seven years and he is never less than captivating. We all have that little self-doubting voice. Ren just had the courage to be open and honest about it. He released one just yesterday called Bittersweet Symphony that is just gorgeous. I love how his videos are done all in one take. No cuts, no edits and he is performing his songs live. He is a genre all to himself, and frankly, I think Ren can do it all. AMAZING artist. Bob Dylan changed music forever, full props to him. Ren is his equal as a lyricist, is better as a musician, they both write tunes that are insanely catchy and captivating…and Ren also has already a mastery of visual forms and imagery that Dylan was just beginning to perfect at Ren’s age. I can only conclude from this that we’re at a watershed moment, the breakout of Ren from which musical history will find itself changed going forward. As others have already recommended the main songs other's react to, one that's not is Chalk Outlines. He does it with Chinchilla and like most of his work it's performed live. It gives a good representation of his singing abilities and I should also mention that it's a rather hard hitting song so if you do it be prepared to shed a tear.

Check out his busking videos with Sam Tompkins or the Band The Big Push. His vocal ability and artistry is out of this world. I shot the Sherrif is a good one.

I've watched hundreds of reaction videos to "Hi Ren," and I have been WAITING for someone to make the vocal connection to Sting!! You are the first, and so far ONLY, reactor to note this! 🥰 The first time I watched this video, I had head to toe goosies when he actually began singing. It may be cliché, by my interpretation there was that he finally found his own "voice." As I said, I've listened to hundreds of these reaction vids for "Hi Ren.". I watch them all the way through and have subsequently heard the entire song as many times, and even though I know it's coming, I STILL get full-body goosies when he begins to sing.

Mad props to you for shouting out Charo as a serious guitarist! She really deserves that respect, we can try to make up all that time we just treated her like the Hoochie Coochie girl. :)
