maybe the Dreaming Tree's dream is to have a separate body. Lillia is the tree itself. Kinda like Ego in GotG Vol. 2. About Yone, I believe that the dream Lillia sneezed traveled to the Spirit Blossom Fields thus resurrecting Yone.

Another thing to consider is, even without being a Vastaya, could Lillia be the closest thing to a Vastayashai'rei? She is basically spiritual energy with a physical form, given form by a dream, and it's hard to believe this hasn't happend before, considering how wild is magic in Ionia. Perhaps, in the past, the vastayashai'rei came to exist in a similar manner, when wishes/ideas/hopes took physical form thanks to the magic of the land.

I think the mask of darkness thing was a reference to the Xayah and Rakan story showing off that the Shadow order is still draining the magic of the land for some reason. I know Yone (still pronounced Yo-neh btw) has been leaked and everyone is either hyped or disappointed for him, but I think the connection of the Shadow Order stories and the living thing that is essentially Ionia is a bit stronger than a teaser for a champ that's another month or so out. I could be wrong, but its what I thought of it...

I think that he will be born from the corrupted tree, which might cloud yone's mind so hes always fighting between his true self and the corrupted side of himself. which would explain the duality they alluded to in the riot post

I think that Lillia and Nocturne could have connecting lore for obvious reasons. I would not be surprised if Riot did this since 1) Lillia is a new champion 2) Nocturne has been gaining popularity 3) Nocturne has not had a lore update for quite some time but oh boy as a Noct main would I love this.

I think that a couple of things here could be explained with Nocturne. Maybe when the invasion started, not only did people stop dreaming as much, but Nocturne took notice of it and started to haunt Ionia, so his nightmares started to corrupt the tree and by extension some of the dreams within it, which could also explain Yone’s appearance in the leaked art. To me Yone sort looks like what Kusho did when he was fully corrupted by the shadow magic, so maybe Yone isn’t as corrupt as Kusho but is still touched by it. Either way I hope they incorporate Nocturne in Lilia’s story since he could serve as an amazing villain for her.

It's not just about her visual design (both being nature-themed female fawn-centaurs with staff weapons) or their abilities (Lillia's E and Lunaras Q are both delay explosions at range that slow, and their passive is literally the same: all damage applies DoT), but it's also a lot of aspects of her origins... -Lillia and Lunara are each the firstborn of their kind. -Lillia was born from a seed of the Dreaming Tree and Lunara (actually all Dryads in Warcraft) are born from special acorns. -Both spent their time guarding a "sacred garden" before venturing out into the world: the Garden of Forgetting for Lillia, and Moonglade for Lunara. -Both are very dream-themed; with both needing to nurture dreams and use them for sustinence (the "Emerald Dream" from Warcraft is their source of nature magic). -The Dreaming Tree being born of the Godwillow after it died to an invading force just like Teldrassil was born of Nordrassil after it died to an invading force. -Both the Dreaming Tree and Teldrassil were "killed" in an invasion and are slowly starting to regrow. It's really not even that much of a stretch at this point.

my theory is that Yone is going to be darkin. in the champion roadmap the writer says that they feel a dark presence inside of them. on top of that, they say that they’re familiar with one of the weapons they’re holding (Yone’s) and that the other weapon they’re holding is foreign to them, but the dark presence recognizes the weapon (darkin weapon).

That Yone that would come true from yasuos dream, would be pretty nice. Then it wouldn't be the same yone, cause its not the real one, like one that blooms from a real soul. The new Yone would be a imagination coming true. That would be a really cool way to bring yone 'back' without being brought back.

Yone could potentially be “born” the same way Lilia did too. It’s like a darker comparison compared to her. Albeit he is born from Yasuo’s dreams, it may not be the real “Yone” Yasuo may assume he be. Cos the real Yone is dead i think, and this “Yone” might just be a completely new being. Like, it’s him but it doesn’t “feel” like him, if that makes sense. Somewhat like Senna, Senna’s new form isn’t the same before she was in the lantern. It is from whatever she remembers her appearance was back then, cos technically she’s somewhat a wraith now too

Maybe yone wile be kind of like kayn where the darkness or yone wins and that form takes over.
