Lillian F. Schwartz is a pioneering artist known for her experiments with computer-generated and computer-assisted art starting in the 1960s. Among (many) other projects, Schwartz has created software, editing techniques, films, and graphics. She was a member of Experiments in Art and Technology (E.A.T.) and a resident artist and consultant at Bell Labs.
In this video, Jack DiLaura (@jackdilaura) walks you through creating a feedback-based visual effect inspired by Lillian Schwartz’ 1975 film “Kinesis”.
You’ll work through creating generative systems for generating parameter control and modifying textures, including the positioning of shapes, shifting of colours, working with feedback, compositing effects, and more.

Thank you. Very helpful for beginners like me. Because you give explanations at every step. Many tutorials on KZfaq show you what is being done. But not why it is done.

i cant link null 3( null pos tex to opto 2 dont le me know what is the error im making .. ) can you help me out pls?

Just to clarify, you're not able to link the null_pos_tex TOP to the topto2 CHOP? Here's what you need to do: 1. Click on the topto2 CHOP so that the parameters appear in the upper right of the TouchDesigner window 2. Click and drag the null_pos_tex TOP onto the TOP parameter in the parameter window (or you can simply type in _null_pos_tex_ in the TOP parameter if you want) This will allow the topto2 CHOP to reference the correct TOP. Hope that helps!

Adding topto2 to null_pos_text requires clicking on the "null and add to chain" option. Dragging it into the arrangement doesn't work. Exporting the rendered video doesn't work either. It's just a video. It can't be the same as played in TouchDesigner, sent to Arena Resolume, or used in a video editor or visuals. Do you understand? By the way, the video was good. I learned a lot about the Topo and feedback.@@TheInteractiveImmersiveHQ

maybe its the name on null2 (called the wya u called null_ color ) but i dont think thats would be the error , i mean doesnt matter the name you change ... or really does?

The name shouldn't matter, so long as you've got the topto2 CHOP referencing the right TOP.
