This video is of Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument. This area is also known as Custer's Last Stand. While Custer is mainly known for his last stand, it wasn't the only thing he did. He was also a Civil War hero on the Union side, and that's why he was in charge of the seventh cavalry.
A 25 minute film runs all day long. That's a great place the begin your journey to Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument. The film gives you a lot of information about the area.
There is a four mile drive around the Battlefield. In addition to the memorial battlefield, the more well known soldiers are memorialized.
If you have an interest in battles or history, the Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument is a stop you will want to make if you are anywhere near Crow Agency, Montana.

Another great stop off to draw interest on a historical event. Thanks Ladies for the quick show and tell. Were you able to stay somewhere nearby? I don't think they used to allow trailers to be towed on the access road down to the Reno-Benteen defense site where what was left of Reno's 3 companies initially dug in? It is an eerie feeling for me when I have been there thinking of that miserably hot summer day when the battle took place. The various rear guard small unit actions that groups of troops performed to try and hold off the Indians until they were overwhelmed. Those headstones in clustered groups leading up to the actual Custer final battle site always give me the willies.

We got to take the trailer to the visitor center. We were going to maybe Theodore Roosevelt National Park that day.
