It’s also a show. Mike has to try and date other people. The show would be way less entertaining if he only showed interest in Shea....

You do realize that when Stormi asks Shea why she is so serious that it may have been because she already told her that nothing was going on in the room since a lot was probably edited out. At that point Mike was sitting RIGHT there in front of them, and not in the room. It does not take much to get Shea hot. She got "upset" because Mike (a grown man) was drinking even though he was not really acting too much out of character while drinking.

I do not think he is asking her to shift. He is 39 with no kids so whomever he gets with needs to be able and willing to have kids. And needs to want kids. That's it. I think the fact that she is struggling to even want a child is a huge issue and she is right to have that perspective given her age but these are things that should have been vetted in casting. Most of the men on the show wanted kids and were in their 30s. So why have women on the show who are in their 40s with grown kids who probably woould not want to go back to the drawing board? Even Tiffany - she has a granddaughter - THAT is how old her son is. Melinda was in her 40s as well.

I agree that generally if a man has to make a "choice" then women should walk away. BUT this is a dating show... As the audience it's easy for us to say he should make a choice or Shea should leave, but it's a show that has to have multiple episodes... Also, if Mike had chosen Shea immediately he would've gotten eliminated since that was the issue the other women had with him in the beginning. Imo, Shea over-reacted and was being unreasonable... she can't expect to not want to compromise on the very important baby issue and still expect Mike to choose her without a doubt (although we all know he's not that into Shatava). On another note, I found Alexx to be a bit distant from my girl Ashley all of a sudden. He seems stuck on Tiffany in spite of the great chemistry he and Ashley seem to have :(

Love your breakdown of who Mike is you are spot on. I think what Mike is doing is taking Shea out of the competition so she won't have to compete with the others and possibly engage with the other two men. He knows how important this is for them both so he doesn't want her distracted. That's why he keeps a saying she is around am around as if his intention is to not do too much now but Chase her with no camera it's as if he has this understanding that they are both by going anywhere so he knows where to find her. He wants the chance and ability to pursue her off camera in the real world with no games. Where he made the mistake was in not letting her know instead of playing games. Because of this Shea walks away thinking they are done and will unattached herself from him as soon as she leaves. There is a chance he will have lost all the headway he did with Shea.

I agree that Mike is an alpha male and likes attention. I also think in his heart he has chosen Shae(sp?). But his actions and thought process in the last two episodes really draw forth his flaws and probably reasons why he's single. He low-key gravitates to the attention of many women more than the nurturing love of one. I think he is attracted to the strength in both Shatavia and Shae but needs Shae's no bullshit confidence more. He knows that, but men will do what you allow them to.

Everyone keeps jumping down Sheas throat saying stuff like "well it's a dating show, she knows what she signed up for & he's mingling like he's supposed to be doing. They're not even in a relationship"... Correction: Mike was the one initially claiming her from the jump. What he should have done was do all that "mingling" shit in the very beginning. He connected with Shea and made it clear to her and everyone else that he was locked in on her. He made it clear he didn't see himself with the other women. So now that he's realizing there are things he may not be able to deal with her not really wanting those twins & whatever else) he wants to "mingle & mix" with Shatava & Tiffany which is what he should've being doing in the very beginning. Shea is not wrong for getting her feelings involved and being emotional over the things he does. He's the one who awoke those feelings by expressing all his feelings for her SINCE DAY 1! & i guarantee if at any point it was her locked into a room with Alexx or Aaron he wouldn't have been happy about it either. Also, let's stop talking about her being angry about that... Was she angry? Yes! Rightfully so! Did she express it in the most ideal way? Absolutely not! But most people don't. Does that mean she's this "angry black woman" who needs to get in tough with her femininity etc..? No! Y'all acting like she hauled off and started beating the man. She got upset but never cursed him out, lashed out at Shatava and still had enough class to even return that sorry ass shady hug he was giving her when she was leaving. And what's so wrong with her being angry about the little incident? Damn is she not allowed to have "feelings?" Does she have to walk around like angel with this fakesmile plastered to her face at all times to get a man? Relationships ain't all roses. & this case her and Mike may not exactly be in a romantic relationship but they have a "relationship".
