He really didn't though because the stop was the drivers fault, if a passenger wanted to they could leave during a traffic stop unless the stop is because of drugs or they suspect the passenger of doing something

Pretty sure officers can ask everyone in the vehicle for their license and request all windows down. The passenger isnt in charge of that window, the operator of the vehicle is.

@@deville8232 Not true. Driver doesn't even have to roll it down, cops aren't a fan and use threats but as long as it's open enough to pass a ticket or license through that's technically the law.

The only item I would change about these situations is basically, "Phone a Friend". Meaning, why tow the vehicle if someone nearby can come and get it? Tow companies rip people off in a huge way when towed for this reason.
