I'm so tired of FSG and this garbage about Michael Edwards. Michael Edwards was useful 10 years ago but now everybody does what Michael Edwards does. So being cheap is no longer an advantage because you know something others don't everybody knows everything. Money is what talks now not finding a gem. We're not Brighton. We're not Sheffield. We're not any other small time club. We are Liverpool and we should be conducting ourselves as such!!

Crikey, there’s two months left of the window! If we haven’t brought in the players that we need to bring in by September 2, then fair enough, criticise the club. Apparently some talks with a player/s today (at least one, maybe 2) which if it is true willing to meet Nico Williams release clause it might be him, but also Wolves left back release clause is £36m so could be him/ but could be both. If we don’t sign Calafiori I would hope we are in the Yoro race still.

Cannot believe how Spurs can pay the money for a unproven player with huge potential but we cannot spend the same amount on Ederson from Atalanta, who is and has been my number one target. Regarding Nico Williams the wages we have now got from Mattip and Thiago would pay the £300k he would require. Come on FSG get your finger out before these turn into yet further players who slip through our fingers and we miss out on.

We need to relax. All the clubs doing business right now have done it over players who either never went to the Euros (Maatsen, Dewsbury-Hall, Archie Gray) or players who are now out of the Euros (Calafiori) with the exception of De Ligt who is on the move just about every summer. We also need to remember that the Edwards/Ward and co. strategy was always to move silently and carefully. I highly doubt we're even talking about their eventual signings right now.

So still no news with regards to incomings, because players are only linked with us and we're just in relax mode while our rivals are doing business. I'm very concerned about our potential transfer targets as it stands Arsenal is likely going to take our potential transfer targets away from us. It's a shame to see that because as it stands if Arsenal do get the right players they might be the next premier league title winners if City is not going to win it again for the record 5 times in a row.🤦🏽‍♂️

He does look good for Spain, but signings based on good performances at international competitions, very often go bad. Anyone remember Diouf? Modric is the only player I can think of that really worked out straight from the Euros. I think it might be because the quality of international football is more sort of Everton level than Liverpool

We all know we will not go after. Nico Williams. Because of this idea, that'll upset the rest of the players. And it doesn't seem to upset the man city players that other players get paid way more and it doesn't seem to upset the real Madrid players that get paid a lot more. It doesn't seem to upset the Arsenal players that get paid a lot more and it certainly didn't seem to upset any other talk clubs with their players getting paid more. Their professional! We have Konate and Quansah who can play there. With the proper development, they can both turn into world class CBs. As much as I would love Calafiori, we need to to take priority of improving our defensive midfield, buy a left back and right winger to offer another option than Mo.

Liverpool should not go after Gordon. How many left wingers do you need? Diaz, Gakpo, Jota and Nunez all can play there. If anything get a right winger. Really need a CB and DM. I honestly did not know who Nico Williams was prior to this tournament even though I would like us to sign him. Remember Al-Hadji-Diouff who we signed on the back of the world cup?. What an awful signing that was.
