What is it that I love about living on the canal on my canalboat in Autumn? Well, you're about to find out in this vlog! Contains scenes of tranquillity, Stillness, wildlife, cruising the cut and a birthday retreat, including a Beach, water, mountains and woodland.
The Journey started here... I once lived in the fast lane of life, happily married of 26 years, with two children. That chapter was suddenly shattered by the sudden loss of my wife to cancer, which led me in to depression and homelessness. Waking up in hospital, after attempting to take my own life, with just a suitcase, kayak and bicycle and no money, I've managed to rise up out of the darkness and find happiness and continue my next chapter.
I'm a self taught film maker, and creating these vlogs, it gives me something to do, share my personal experiences as I continue my journey cruising and living life on the canal. Please do consider supporting my channel below... Thank you Dave

Coming from Anglesey I can tell you that most of the ravens in Britain pair up for life in those woods in Llanddwyn/Niwbwch,no one knows why.

You do get them through summer months and mainly come out to feed in the evening, but ive not encountered many. Midges can be more of a problem and horse flys.
