Always being hard on myself, forgetting about all the blessings in my life and feeling that I can't succeed in life. But you what, I can and I have succeeded thus far. I have loving friends/family, I have been married to a wonderful man for 8 years, I have a Master's degree and I am in a job that I love! Daniel Euan Henderson - You are loved as well. By many. Your encouraging words and daily praise are all some people hear. I'm so thankful for my family, but to those who feel alone...........you are not. You are far from alone. You may be afraid of the 'crowd' out there, but a lot of those people are also feeling the same anxiety as you. Please know that a smile to a stranger, though small, may be the only kindness they feel. Smile often. You......are.....loved.

I love your positivity! I used to be that way in college, always making people smile or laugh. and every Friday I'd send out a "Yeah, it's Friday, have a great day!" message...some friends say they miss getting those. but somehow that light/spark has faded over time, and I don't know how to re-light it? but watching your videos gives me hope, that one day I'll get my spark back. Thanks Daniel, you are a sweetheart! =)

Therapy helps guys. So does surrounding yourself with people who care. It doesn't even have to be a lot of people. I have like, two close friends, but just having someone to share the experience with helps lift the burden from yourself. Its easier to carry something if you do it together. Thank you for talking about this Daniel. Its an important conversation to have and I hope that this community can help you carry the things that weigh you down.

Amen. I had to do something about my depression, anxiety, and body issues when I was a teenager without any help. It wasn't easy and it took YEARS, but now that I went through that and took control of my issues rather than letting my issues control me I have that to look back on when I find myself having a bad day and it reminds me that if I can go through that and survive that I can get through anything. It also serves to remind me that going back to the way things used to be just isn't something I am willing to do for anyone or anything. I won some pretty big battles against myself and those serve to remind me that the battles I go through now are just little bumps. I taught myself to recognise the bad thought patterns and taught myself how to change those thought patterns, also I taught myself to use most of my anxiety to benefit me when I set my goals. 😊😊😊😊😊 I also tell people who are struggling about my own struggles and what I learned so they know that they are not alone and that it is completely possible to overcome those things. Lol, most of the people I tell my story to cannot believe that I used to have those problems because they have only known me as the confident person I am today. And I wouldn't change what I went through for anything because it made me the person I am today and that person is a good, confident, and happy person with a good life!!!

This past Fall I went through one of the hardest times in my life. I was extremely ill and there were many times where I felt alone and honestly like I was going to die. I had a bad reaction to a vaccine that ended up giving me the disease the vaccine was preventing. My immune system was destroyed and I couldn't leave the house for months. The constant pain was eating away at me and I came so close to giving up on a daily basis. But, watching your videos and developing healthy habits in my life really helped me get in the right mindset. I have come out of this situation stronger and more mindful of what I was put on this Earth for. The horrible illness brought on a horrible habit of not eating due to the fear of it making me throw up and making me feel worse. I lost a ton of weight but not good weight. Just last month I began being able to eat normally again and since then I have gained back 5 pounds which I am super proud of. I just would like to thank you for everything you have helped me through. It is amazing what a 3 minute video on Facebook can do to make you feel appreciated and give you hope. You are amazing and are truly making a difference in this world. Nobody is perfect and I understand you have your own issues in life but to push aside you problems and address problem everyone else is going through is amazing. You're truly an inspiration of mine and I hope one day to get to meet you. Thank you again and keep being awesome! - Erika :)

I use to take antidepressants when I was 16. I was dating my soon-to-be ex husband. I was in a mentally abuse relationship for years, fighting for a love that was never there. I gained a lot of weight because of my relationship and we have two kids together. I'm awake now! Trying to fight the depression and anxiety. My new year's resolution (because of you) is to find self-love. I want to learn to love myself because I noticed I get consumed with worrying about if others love me. I even think my kids hate me (or, I'm not doing enough). It's hard right now but I watch your videos and they give me hope. I'm still young (23) but I know you are never too old to reach your goals.

Love the video! I suffered from horrible depression and anxiety for years. I was in an abusive marriage to an alcoholic. We had been high school sweethearts and together for 25 years. Once our son was diagnosed with autism 5 years ago, my husband started drinking heavily and became emotionally, psychologically and physically abusive. It's shocking how quickly someone can destroy your esteem and break your spirit. I tried to keep up appearances that we were OK to family and friends. My husband ended up walking out on us Christmas Eve 2015, after cleaning out our accounts. It was also three days before our son's birthday. We lost our house and had to move in with my mother and I found out two months later he was living with a woman I had considered a very close friend. I'm so glad he left, even though he has the audacity to be fighting me for custody of our son. I have a job I absolutely love (I was a stay at home mom when he deserted us), my son is in a nationally top ranked school for children on the spectrum and he's doing amazing. We're saving so much money without that alcoholic albatross around our necks and we're truly happy for the first time in years. About a year ago a friend sent me one of your videos and it was so nice to hear a very sweet, attractive guy telling women they are beautiful and deserve respect (and your accent gah! 😉) I subscribed to your channel and I look forward to watching. Keep up the great work, your videos really do make people happy and feel good about themselves 💜

Thank you for not believing the naysayers. Discovering your channel has been a God send at just the right time. Your accent is part of why I enjoy your vlogs, American accents get tiring. You're real and genuine, thanks for being the change 🤗

I would like to thank you for all you do with your videos. I remember seeing one of your videos a couple years ago for the first time and I was like this guy is so amazing. I'm a male to female transgender and your videos have helped me a lot especially this last year. I've been starting to transition socially little by little and I've had this voice in the back of my head that keeps saying that I will never be a girl. No matter what I do it's always there. However, you videos have helped calm that voice and they have helped me to get the courage to wear a 2 piece swimming suit for the first time. I haven't yet since it's been to cold to and the pool is closed but as soon as it opens, I'm going with some friends as myself for the first time. Thanks for all you do.

sadly depression can stem from so much. it's easy to hide from it in our own ways, it takes courage to fight the cause of our own the situation. by fight i mean ourselves; our own inner demons are the fiercest. we can conquer our own fears or embrace them to find ourselves. the choice is our own. it's a hard battle, but one worth struggling for. embracing and loving yourself though hard, is the best. know your worth, your faults, and strive for your dreams. the road is not easy, and there are bumps across the way, but all of us are worth it. your inner pain makes you beautiful.

I love how you are real with things like this. There are very few people that are ok with telling things how they are. Depression and Anxiety sucks but there are remidies out there that are natural. I love your videos and I enjoy your story. You are an amazing person and I am grateful you overcame your fear of public speaking and started making these videos! Keep it up Daniel

Just came across your videos and I absolutely ENJOY them! I can totally relate to struggling with both depression and anxiety. they almost took me out three years ago. BUT I really just wanted to offer my love and support to YOU Daniel. For sharing your love and using your experiences and struggles to give someone else a smile, make someone else's (many someone else's) day brighter. May YOU feel all of OUR love and support as well. Big hugs, my friend. Take care.
