We must always stay positive. It’s important not to own the disease. It’s not denial- it’s just choosing our words carefully. I always just say “diagnosed with” instead of saying “my MS” As a Christian I know that words have power. I always try to choose words of life and living. Thank you for sharing today. I hope you have a fabulous spring! 😊

I started to smile the instant you came on screen Lauren. I recently went to Ocrevus because of JCV. I was looking on a forum and in the act of joining I decided No. I don't want to be focussed on this stuff, I want to focus on all the other adventures I'm planning. You are inspiring, thanks for your reminders. Have a great day Lauren.

Hi Jeff! Aww, thank you! That's why I switched, too. I totally agree with you...we need to focus on other adventures while making smart decisions about our health!

Excellent, Lauren. Have always used positive thinking. And like you, I used to run. Drop foot on the left foot stopped that. Bought a Stairmaster for inside my home. Excellent Cardio workout.

Backpackers use trekking poles to support lower backs when carrying heavy loads. Day hikers use them to help balance.

I have so many questions. I have been using this technique just to get through the past two years. I can’t get the doctors to give me a diagnosis. All the symptoms point to ms but they are trying to tell me I have fibromyalgia. Something tells me It it’s not that. Why does it take so long to diagnose ms?

Did you do a spinal tap? That's usually a defining test for MS..
