This is my favorite video you guys have made yet. Loved the drone footage of the course, loved the camera juggling during the training run, nice music selection too. Congrats on the Pac 12 Men's Freshman of the Year award, Lex! It was great to see you both in Sacramento. Crazy to hear that Leo just recovered from a burst appendix - certainly wouldn't have guessed that based on his outstanding performance!! Hope all is good with you both, and good luck in Virginia next week!

im from washington and that course was also our districts course which we ran the next day, i loved seeing familiar landmarks in tacoma while watching this!

Awesome video again Lex 🙂👍. Great race and time….. 17 hours is a lot…. I know 12 hours is considered a full time student…basically 4 classes at 3-credits per class. Some,, like Calculus ( higher mathematics) is considered a 4-credit class…. So, I know 17 is like 5-6 classes 😶 , and Maybe with a 1-2 point credit lab. You know what I’m talking about !!! 😎😎. So,, with that many hours and collegiate running…. You one busy dude ! Sorry to hear about Leo….. had my appendix removed years ago…. He’s a strong guy, and he’ll be back soon enough 💪🙂👍🏃‍♂️. Keep doing what you’re doing ( get that degree from Stanford 👍,,,, and keep running)…. ! Stay strong, and best wishes for a speedy recovery for Leo. ~~ Peace ✌️ ~~

Do you guys have any thoughts on transitioning from XC to indoor? I had states yesterday and now I’m taking a week to recover mentally/physically, gonna do some weights, cut mileage, whatever. Anything that’s helped you in the past?

I would really focus on releasing the tension in your legs. Try to stretch and roll out a lot. You want to start your new season with as fresh and recovered legs as possible.
