A creepy look at the desolate Manchester city centre (England, UK) during lockdown at a normally peak where the streets would be packed.
I took this video whilst walking to work as I am a key worker and this was a legitimate journey.

Alright pal, I used to work many many years ago as a labourer for a builder doing suspended ceilings and partition walls and they done the refurb for what was British Home Stores next to the Arndale shopping centre. Finished it one Saturday morning, packed up the tools and the whole thing was blown away by the Manchester bomb shortly after. Don’t think it was even that quiet back then post the bomb compared to what you’ve just shown now. Take care mate and look after yourself, Leo

Jeez I remember that. I was out in Bury as a teenager and we heard the blast. I think people don't appreciate it unless you're familiar with the place. I used to work shifts in the city centre and even in the middle of the night there's always people around. Thanks so much for watching! All the best mate and keep up the brilliant work. Andy

I live in Manchester & I haven’t been to the city in about 35 years! Looks good without traffic, although I drive wherever I go.

It's crazy isn't it. I'm a Manchester lad and I've been coming and going all my life. Even worked in the city centre for 5 years on shifts so was used to it at all hours of the day and week. Even round Christmas when offices are closed. I've never seen it like this. I had goosebumps. It was a bit like the start of 28 Days Later!

That's a shame! You'd think people would want to protect themselves and their families. I suppose if people have to work though it's not their fault. There was the occasional person about but it was so weird seeing it like this when I'm used to it being a hive of activity. Thanks so much for watching.
