It's fascinating how much hard work goes into these boots. Makes me really proud to own a pair of nicks. I have a pair of wescos and a couple pairs of White's and they are all nice boots but what really makes you guys stand above the rest is all the information you put out between the website and KZfaq. Amazing job all around and you got a customer for life here.

I enjoy watching these vids, but given the labor necessary to disassemble the boots, and the amount of new material need to rebuild them, is it ever economical to go through this labor & cost rather than simply buying a new pair?

It's less then half the price of a new pair. It's worth it to get them redone...I had a pair of Danners and Red Wings that got new soles put on...About $100 each pair. It's beats paying $300-400 for a new pair. I can many more years from them..

@@billystpaul8907 In your case I'd agree, but take a look at the amount of labor & replaced material in this pair; it must be 70% of the boot. I have no idea what this job cost, but it must've been nearly as much as a new pair...or more when labor is factored in?
