On a Saturday in mid-May, we woke up to find that our MacBook Pro had completely stopped working, so we decided to go to the Apple Store to look for a new PC. Our day was planned around a visit to the London Zoo, for which we had already booked tickets, followed by a trip to the SOHO area.
Early in the morning, Camden Town was quiet with few people around, but by noon, it was as crowded as Harajuku. If you're planning to visit, be prepared for the crowds and watch out for pickpockets!
The London Zoo was more fun than we imagined, and we ended up spending three hours there. Here are our top highlights:
1. Butterfly Exhibit: This was the most enjoyable part, with butterflies freely flying around.
2. Giraffes: Seeing these majestic animals up close was a wonderful experience.
3. Bird House: Entering the birds' living space and observing them was fascinating.
The zoo's exhibits were engaging and creative, making it a place you could spend hours exploring.
We then walked to the Rose Garden, thinking it might be in full bloom around mid-May, and the view of roses stretching as far as the eye could see exceeded our expectations. I dream of creating my own British garden someday, filled with beautiful roses like this.
Next, we headed to the Apple Store in SOHO. After much deliberation, we decided to buy a MacBook Air M3. We chose the 13-inch model for its portability, hoping it will be a reliable companion for future travels. Given the unexpected expense, we sincerely hope it lasts a long time.
Finally, the moment you've all been waiting for-an update on Kitsune-don 🦊!
We now have new characters: Kitsune-don Jr. and Kitsune-don Jr. Jr., making our spring garden lively. While the newcomers have been more visible, we miss seeing Kitsune-don as frequently. We hope it's doing well wherever it is. In London, it's common to have foxes in the backyard, and we're glad to have become familiar with them.
