In this video, I've put together highlights from a weekend walk in the Mayfair area and my visit to a Premier League match the following week.
I only had prior knowledge that Mayfair is known for having many British gentlemen. I decided to go anyway to visit a bookstore I'd been wanting to see. Daunt Books, said to be the most beautiful bookstore in the world, was a place I had long wanted to visit. (There are many places in the UK that I want to visit, but this was pretty high on the list!)
It was a fantastic day since I managed to buy not only the coveted tote bag but also a lip product from the British brand REFY and a collection book about Sherlock Holmes.
As for the Premier League, I thought I'd give it a try since I'm in the UK, so I bought one of the more affordable tickets. The game turned out to be much more exciting than I had anticipated, and I had a lot of fun getting caught up in the excitement alongside the passionate fans. From now on, I'll refer to it as "football" instead of "soccer" (easily influenced)!
Recently, we've had more days above 20°C, and the dry, humidity-free weather is heavenly. With not much rain, taking detours has been a joy. Spring is the best!
