Arctic Fox 811 Truck Camper announces huge 2024 standard updates for Arctic Fox truck campers including fiberglass nose caps, 400-watts of solar, thermal pane windows and 8-cubic foot 12-volt compressor refrigerators. You read that right - all standard!
To be clear, nobody is offering 400-watts of solar standard. And very few camper manufacturers are offering 12-volt compressor refrigerators standard, much 8 cubic foot models. On top of that, Northwood is matching or exceeding its premium competition with new fiberglass nose caps and thermal pane windows - again, all standard for 2024.

We just order factory ordered a new 2024 811 for a 8 ft long box truck. Wish us luck. Hope the stock 400 watt solar panels will be enough power..

7:36 - Can't pass anything through that solid window. I'm glad Northwood switched to a solid window a few years ago. The sliders were prone to leaking around the slider when driving in a rainstorm.

My sliding front window leaked as well. I replaced it with a solid glass (non-sliding) style window in about 2014.

Happijacs - BOO, HISS. The Rieco Titans area a much better jack system, but I understand Northwood can't always get the RT jacks.

To power the DC fridge, does 2024 Arctic Fox 811 come with lithium batteries? How long can the refrigerator last on the batteries if the batteries are not recharged?

The battery compartment is large enough to house 2X group 31 batteries. It does not come with batteries from the factory but It is built to accept Lithium if you were to install them. There is a large variance depending on your other 12v system usage and if you are planning to disconnect the 400w of solar that is now standard on these campers. If you were to calculate the draw on the batteries as an isolated event, you could divide the kwh of the batteries of your choice divided by the draw of the 12v Fridge (1.08kwh per day)

Dealers supply the batteries. If you want Lithium, you can pay for the upgrade and have the dealer install them.... it would be an add-on at the dealer, not a "factory" add-on / option. I put two group 31 AGMs in my 811 a few years ago. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/mMhhiM5jz52UhKc.html

If you live in a cold climate and especially my fellow winter campers just remember that dc fridge makes you a generator slave. Bad change. Very bad. Were not huying arctic foxes because we live in a desert with endless sun.

Love the 811 but the exterior styling is just terrible. Wish they would go back to a sleek nose design

If you have a long bed that needs an 811 and you are looking for the older nose cap now is your chance! We have one 2023 model left for you! Looking towards the future the molded fiberglass nose cap should handle the forces of nature a bit better! Arctic Fox is constantly working to improve the structural integrity and longevity of their campers!

@@Apachecampingcenter I am talking 2005 to 2013 nose design. The stink bug front end just really kills it for me. Think Lance front end but Arctic Fox

Blast from the past! We still get the occasional pre-owned with that nose design. It is a bit more angular and built for a flat roof instead of their new arched roof. @@stuckcamping

The new nose cap is a long overdue upgrade. It looks so much nicer.
