I’ve actually seen a number of stores excited to use it for prizing for both store championships and stand alone tournaments. I’m sure some will be sold at market value but the stores who have strong community support I think by and large will do what they can to get the product to their players.

Hasn’t been confirmed by RB but several stores are saying the same thing so it sounds like at least a good number of the locations hosting will have chapter 1 boxes

Massive is a stretch I believe it’s 24 boxes per store, I will buy if the prices dip for chapter 1.

I think the restock will certainly make a mark but based on what you're saying I don't think I'd call it massive. Several LGS near me weren't approved for the tournaments and the amount that are I don't think are enough to make a huge dent. Still, I think First Chapter Meta Singles (not enchanteds) are actually still very reasonable.

That’s unfortunate that none of your locals were approved. All of our local shops were. Unfortunately I don’t think there is an easy way to find the exact number of stores approved but the map we do have indicates that there are quite a few. I know for our market this restock would be more product than our area had at launch back in August 2023

Thanks for the heads up on the restock.. I was about to pull the trigger one some enchanted, now ill focus on other ones. Here's a random question.. With the Ursula return set being the 'completion' of the initial story (i.e. first chapter), what are the odds that the fifth set be called the second chapter? If so, what would that mean for the collectability of the first four sets?

I think there is a good chance that set 5 starts a new storyline but not sure they will go with the name chapter 2. As for value time will generally have older sets increase in value but I doubt there will be a significant increase just with set 5 release unless there is also an announcement regarding no more reprints at that time

D23 set was limited to 900 on release at the convention, which was confirmed by their staff on Twitter and Discord. They had extra copies they didn't release to the public, but not many. Even with the cards being the only 1st edition cards made (also officially confirmed by Ravs), I'm starting to think the general market in Lorcana doesn't care about them. Either that's from lack of awareness, or they don't want to pay those prices for cards that they can pull from TFC. At least with the enchanted cards, they are getting some really cool art at a very low pull rate

Thanks for the exact amount I knew it was around the 1000 mark. Graded prices on the D23 would suggest there is still a good amount of demand I just don’t think there are enough copies for sale for them to be manipulated outside of natural supply and demand

Promos don't look good.. so idc how rare they are. The enchanteds look better and promo just got handed out. Pulling the elsa on avg is 1200 packs. Meaning you gotta go spend 12k on packs to find her.. lol, she should be worth that much.

Not saying enchanteds shouldn’t be valuable but the growth of their values have definitely corresponded with the buyouts and as such would make me wary of buying in at that point

It won’t lower MSRP but it already has lowered market price. Boxes were trending at $300 on TCG player when I made this video and dropped to $240 with several being sold on marketplace for $220 range shipped

The price of the enchanteds shouldn't be dipping in price. Makes no sense at all. If you have to buy a case to pull 1 enchanted at even $200-$250 a box that means you are spending $800-$1000 to pull 1 enchanted.. then yea majority enchanteds all should be $200 + at minimum.........! You're spending that much all enchanteds in 1st chapter should be 200+ bare minimum value.. and then have you're 3-4 top ones out of all of them.. that seem to be harder to pull.

Not saying they shouldn’t appreciate in value but the price increase isn’t organic growth which does tend to retrace when supply catches back up with the artificial demand

@@HobbyHeroPlays-oi8jt Of course they will go down and then back up again once supply dries up, and soon you wont see the 1st 2 sets printed anymore, and that's when you're going to see big prices surges that stick. That's my assumption, because Disney is huge and people are loving this product.. and good reasons for it. Lot's of people love Disney and its been around 100 years. 1st big card game for them it has playability which people are enjoying, collectability, and rarity chase cards. My guess is invest in on the 1st set for sure.. if you're enjoying this.

@@user-fs9qe9me6w I agree it has a lot of potential long term, however, I think there is a fair amount of manipulation though. If the growth we are seeing in enchanteds was all organic I think we would see it across the board and in some of the more collectible cards like promos and such.

@@HobbyHeroPlays-oi8jt Yea, but if you checked every single enchanted actually has gone up a lot in value. All of them are up like a $100 or more now. From prices 2 weeks ago.. all 1st chapter enchanteds are like $100 + or more up in value

@@user-fs9qe9me6w if you go to TCG player and hit the 6 month graph on each of the enchanteds you will see that most of them have had little to no growth. Sure, there have been some buyouts in that time but all but Elsa have retraced after those buyouts

What lies. The restock isn’t massive. It’s only going to card shops and there getting 6 boxes of each set. Stop spreading misinformation

Not sure what lies you’re talking about. Stores hosting store championships look to be getting 6 cases which is 24 boxes. That is larger than any wave we have seen so far with the possible exception of the mass market release as that’s harder to track. With well over a 1000 stores being approved, that’s potentially 24,000+ boxes entering the market. The last restock we had was a fraction of that and sat on shelves for weeks. Not sure why you would want to downplay it. This is a good thing for players coming in with organized play starting up!
