In this clip from 1966, Canadian actor Lorne Greene says we should be wary of actors being used as frontmen for political groups. Greene is best known for playing Ben Cartwright on the TV western 'Bonanza', and Commander Adama in the science fiction TV series 'Battlestar Galactica' in the late '70s. He is one wise man! He knew his limits and his place in the world. That is not a criticism, but a compliment. He knew he was an entertainer, not a politician. I wish more actors knew that.

A great man we all deeply miss and who was way ahead of his time. He had the class that many actors today strive for and can't achieve. May God keep you safe Lorne. You made all Canadians proud.

Mr. Greene was wise beyond his years. He was 100% correct back then as he is today decades after his passing. The world needs more actors (perhaps Statesman) like him. Rest assured Mr. Greene you and your wisdom are sorely missed.

Not as prophetic as it is telling of the long term plan an Oligarchy has been executing to subvert the government of the USA & as you've seen utilize it's military/economy to create other puppets of the same oligarchy-deep state who have build a dystopia around the people of USA subverting all arms of gov/state/judicial/media-journalism who now only portray the illusion of choice like a Trillion dollar WWE/WWF wrestling match which by the way is destroying the planet & has been elevating those with the least morality while attacking those with moral conscience to protect itself.

Looks like it Larry Zolf was the interviewer. He was famous for his ambush-style journalistic interviews - pre- _60 Minutes_ - on _This Hour Has Seven Days_ . He interviewed the Rolling Stones in 1964, and was asking Jaggar about economic theory, since Jaggar went to the London School of Economics. RIP both Greene and Zolf.

Interesting he knew about Robert Vaughn - and absolutely correct about his going to school - he was getting his PhD at Southern Cal.

He was wise not only as Pa’ Cartwright, but in real life as Lorne Greene. The irony here is that he would have made a wonderful politician because of his wisdom and grace, qualities that the politicians (and celebrities) of today are severely lacking. Little Joe was also a decent man. Michael Landon, like Lorne Greene, was a talented actor and great man. They don’t make them like that anymore.
