You'd become "Filipinized" 😂😂 there's more if you lost something they will NEVER EVER EVER HELP YOU! Even when they knew where it was, but perhaps sometimes they'll do..? 😂 but you'll hear this: "Kung ahas yan tinuklaw ka na!" "Bulag ka ba andyan sa harap mo!" 1. If it's a snake it's already bitten you! meaning it's right in front of you but because your mouth is looking NOT your eyes 😂😂 2. Are you blind it's right in front of you! And many more.

Married to a Filipina for 20 years. This and all your jokes involving your Mom are so spot on. Sometimes I even catch myself talking like that. It scares me... True story, my wife was in downtown Norfolk. Called me and said she was done. I asked her where she was. She said, "I'm outside". I said, Yeah, but where outside, what street? She said, " I'm at the intersection walk, don't walk". OMG... I was laughing so hard and frustrated at the same...

He got the Filipino parents down perfectly. I have Filipino parents and they are JUST LIKE THIS!!! They'd usually say "use your eyes, not your mouth!" 🤣🤣

So true! I never forgot what I did wrong because it was a two hour lecture about how horrible the conditions were in the Philippines and how we should not take advantage of being American born, and Blah blAh Blah. But now that I have kids.. I use the same tactics.. lecturing and telling them “ you’re grandparents did not come to this country face racism and other adversities so you can grow up and be a loser! “ Oh and I too have a wooden key organizer on the wall..
