If I made a mistake, my Mom would be like 'Ba't hindi mo gayahin si ganun, ganyan, ganiri, ' and if I ignore her, she'll literally tell me about how she's like this and like that back in her era, until she got married and give birth to us. Even now, whenever she got mad, I still heard her saying 'kahit nga kami noon...’ and the reminiscing about her past goes on.

I remember my parents buying as a video game, but when they are at home, we cant play it, cause they are playing it. My mom would play jewels, or sometimes both would pllay the racing car, we would shout, mom its our turn. Hahaha What i notice, filipino can get competitive. When we have a reunion. Since i have 52 cousin in my mom side. Yes we have a big family. My mom has 11 siblings. Anyhow. We would play charades. And my cousin are all professional, but if its a game, no one would back down, everyone is serious. It would be funny, all grown people fighting over the rules and bickering will start. Lol filipino family

My Filipino mom doesn't have the chance to go to school when she was a kid, so she can't read nor write. But I was surprised how she's so freaking good at MOBA. She just died last year and I missed her so much 😢

I understand why people in Hawaii can relate now. Lol. Just started watching your stuff and man the pilipino is spot on. It's always been a thing for hawaiian comedians to add it in and it's crazy how someone from the mainland can still do the same type of comedy because the Filipino culture is the same wherever you take it. Like any authentic style of culture, it goes with the people. My grandpa was the Filipino in our family. He married my Hawaiian grandma and my grandma didn't want him speaking Filipino in the house so they only spoke English at home. Maybe if she was still allowed to speak Hawaiian she would have understood the importance of keeping the language alive.
