Hi, thank you, that was a quick turnaround, I use Hylomar blue on my fuel gaskets in the carb as this provides a double level of leakage protection. Ethanol seems to leave white dusty residue I have found on my carb rebuilds, Although not done a Dellorto yet and I have a few to do.

I'd love to know more about the earth wire, I do not have this wire. Also, who is Stuart and the sport and GT place too. Cheers. And the Lotus does sound good.
