A TOP Episode, even towards the end LOU GRANT never really lost it´s drive. Shure one or two stories dropped in every season but the majority of all of them is fun to warch.

24:38 Lou Grant from his tough side, last time this was presented was in the BURN OUT episode. Must be that to many fan letters protested about "the sweet bonbon atmosphere" in the Office. At least I read that in an article about the show once

@@arttrombley7385 ... me too Art, I was working three jobs (1 full time 1 part-time eve, 1 part-time weekends) and hitting the dance floor at the disco's back then. There was about 5 years of TV I almost completely missed out on back then. I'm trying to catch up now...since I cannot tolerate what is on the telly these days.

Great actors to bad they stopped the show because they didn’t realize how important there stories were to get light on some very tough subjects. Politics is everywhere and stations saw dollar signs instead of standing up to bullies who wanted no light on tough situations.. thk u for sharing there great episodes. 👍👍👍

Yep that still was the time when THE BOATPEOPLE as many of the Vietnamese Refugees were called came up in the news worldwide.

Has anyone ever done some lip reading over the opening credits?

What do they say ? :) I have supposed that were clips from the show never used but good enough for making up the formal intro

All Lives Matter, as Vietnam showed. The saying should be Black Lives Matter Too. I've seen t shirts stating Old Lives Matter Too. All Life Matters, not just Human.

@@cathykinn4516maybe George Floyd should have realized all lives matters before he tried to stick up a pregnant woman at gun point.
