Who wants a slice?

This past year has been a struggle for me, to say the least. I have lost 3 people that are very dear to me (my mom, her sister, and last week a young, beautiful cousin). I watch your videos to take me away from all of "it." I used to watch your show with my mom and we would always talk about the good food, your beautiful home, and how pretty, sweet and funny of a person you are. I have a sister who tells the story of how while shopping one day with our mom, a young woman asked my mom if she knew how to make chili. (Of course she did, you don't raise 11 kids without knowing how to make chili.) The woman's young daughter stared at my mom looking star struck and asked her if she was Paula Deen - she had a pretty face and soft gray hair too, so giving her mom the recipe convinced her she was. It made my mom's day!! Thank you Paula, Eddie and Teresa for all the work you do bringing us these wonderful recipes, but mostly thank you for bringing me comfort. Love to you all!

Mmmm that looks delicious and perfect to have with a cup of a coffee, not that I drink it lol. Now all that cake needs is some delicious chocolate ganache or vanilla icing drizzled over the top...then it would be *chef's kiss*

In most of my desserts, I add a tablespoon of instant vanilla pudding and it makes it so moist!

I did make this pound cake, and it was awesome -- definitely a keeper! I also put vanilla extract like Miss Paula. Next time I will add crushed walnuts. You guys gotta try this recipe!

It was considered a cardinal sin to cut into a pound cake right after baking where I grew up. Many times said to me, the cake has to settle.......you might get a slice the next day

Cracking eggs separate makes it different, I learned from my experience, sometimes eggs are not good.

This looks so good, but it's not a pound cake. I would say It's more a coffee cake, because there's sour cream in it. I also would've added cold brewed coffee; instead of the boring old flavorless water! 😘

Cake looks beautiful, but not truly a pound cake. I remember my Mom making a pound cake with tons of butter, and eggs, and topped with walnuts, so it was very dense and oh so good. Certainly not good for you, but in moderation. It was like a brick!

I would call this recipe A Chocolate Chip Sour Cream Bundt cake as it does not in any way resemble a pound cake in shape or ingredients.
