I made this for dinner last night and it is delicious. My baby is 6'5" and a senior in high school. I started working part-time and evenings are a part of it. So I cook before I go to work. Dinner has to taste good, be substantial (I believe my baby is still growing), and easy to heat up. It also has to make my family feel my love even if i'm not there. This recipe checked all of the boxes. I took a smidge to work and then prayed that they didn't eat it all, it was so good. Thank you Paula for being a part of my families kitchen. Much Love..

I buy your magazine frequently at the checkout, along with Taste of the South. I just used your link for a 2 yr subscription. It will save me a lot of money, thanks! Also, could you include more made in the USA kitchen and decor items in your magazine. I like the section where you suggest products for the kitchen and home too. Thank you! Your magazine is a good suggestion for a teachers gift. Teachers do not need any more coffee mugs! Students mean well and buy gifts at Valentines, Christmas, and end of the year, but the coffee mugs, etc add up year after year and get donated.

My family loves Italian food. Especially spaghetti and lasagna, chicken Parmesan, Alfredo, so much more. This looks so delicious! Most of my family likes Italian sausage, some do not, but I think we would probably swap it out for a different sausage possibly. Not sure which sausage just yet tho. I'm planning on getting your magazine subscription.Paula! I can't wait! Thank you for sharing your delightful recipes with us!! So yummy!

Paula love this maybe minus the eggplant what about substituting zucchini? Eggplant is so rich at times and bothers some of we italian folks. Do we think the eggplant could cause more water buildup? Love your videos you make us feel anything is possible in the kitchen with guidance from Paula.

Paula I see that you used elbow macaroni in this dish my question to you is what type of pasta can I substitue for that because my husband is a type two diabetic and not suppose to eat regular pasta?

If you can get them..use Healthy Noodles at Costco. This is a name for just Costco. You can find the same noodle, just called Zeromen at Walmart. I found it in prouce (it needs to be kept refrigerated) and is only a couple of dollars. I have tried them all and this is by far the best no carb noodle. No weird taste or after taste.

Paula, I ordered two of the $16.99 subscriptions to Paula Deen back in October when you first announced the special. I only received one magazine in December the next one never arrived. I guess they can’t process more than qty one. I still don’t have my January issue from either subscription. So disappointing as I had wanted to gift the December and January issue. I’ve had to call the company several times to get things straightened out, Paula. And now it’s February and still waiting for my additional copies.

Looks so good! My heavenly days, I've got to make this. I agree with Paula that when you use canned tomato chunks, it never breaks down -- don't know why. Crushed tomato city for sure. 🍅

What is the sound in the background? I have these ingredients all except the zucchini and want to make something with them tonight! If it’s just me on the sound keep on keeping on. I always love your vids and recipes. Idk why the sound is so bad. Sounds like a pressure cookers was going in the kitchen too. Reminds me of my grandmother’s kitchen in the summer. Hot, loud, and the only place you wanted to be bc grandmother was there.
