I think marshell is use to dating toxic women like Jackie with the hopes of “fixing them” and being the “nice guy” and I think he has a savior complex. So I was in Bliss’ situation before. I started dating a man. When I met him, he told me how his ex broke up with him because she ran a background check on him and found out that he had a possession charge. He was sensitive about the situation and did not talk about it with anyone which is why he never told her. We were in a relationship and posted our pictures on Facebook. When his ex saw that he moved on she was upset because she thought he would chase after her. She contacted him and told him she loved him and he dumped me and got back with her. They were together for a couple weeks and she dumped him again so he went back to me and I stupidly took him back. I’ve never had peace. I always thought he would leave me again for her. When a man chooses someone else, let them go. No one should be a second choice. Bliss deserves better.

I think Tiffany may also be worried that if Brett is really as good as he seems, will SHE be able to measure up. Like, when they were supposed to see how each other lives, he had this beautiful, high tech apartment but they couldn't even go to hers because she's got roommates. They're in their mid-30's but she has a roommate? She commented on the fact that he is able to spend well on himself but she was concerned about covering the bills. That made me think that maybe she had problems with debt and so is worried about finances. He said that he would cover 75-80%, to allow her to contribute a portion too but my guess is that he can cover it all by himself. He didn't even hesitate about getting a larger apartment. As a design director at Nike, he is probably making some serious money so it's not an issue to cover another person. Sometimes when you finally get the thing that you've always wanted, not only do you feel like it's too good to be true, you also worry that you're going to mess it up. I think that she's experiencing premarital jitters. My fear is that she may say no because of her fear. From the preview, we can see that something happens because we see Brett saying that this is not supposed to happen on your wedding day and he seems upset.

Idk if it’s solely based on preference, but I think Marshall looks at women as projects needing to be fixed and it’s because of his unresolved childhood trauma. If there’s been a pattern -he admitted to always dating women like Jackie….I think he gets off on being the “savior”.
