I have to disagree with you here. Loving your partner and staying committed is a choice. We often loosely use the word “love” and we mix being in love with actually loving someone. Being in love with someone can stem from infatuation, possessiveness and obsession. You feel alone when your partner is not around you. You crave and yearn for them. Loving someone on the other hand, goes beyond the physical presence. You desire to see them grow, you see past their flaws, you see opportunities of building into each other and together; you motivate, encourage and inspire one another. You said in the first two years of your marriage you were emotionally unavailable because there was temptation everywhere. And then decided to focus and stay committed through the act of LOVE. Loving someone requires 100 percent commitment on your part Love takes work, sacrifice and time. True love is committed to putting in the effort that a long-term relationship needs.

I thank God for you giving the perspective and experience from a Man. In this video so far (including the title)...I see through a different lens. The phrase "Love vs Being In Love" is a phrase that was created by a man as well. However, I was meditating on the the Word LOVE. It stand alone solid without the remainder clause "...vs being in love..." Why? LOVE IS GOD and GOD is LOVE. I Corinthians 13 the chapter does not teach us to stand in love but commands us to LOVE. Charity (LOVE OF GOD) is the the end all be all...Period!!! We cannot truly Love except we have what we need from GOD and GOD alone. Yes, people will love to what they understand love to be. Human understanding and Humanly speaking love is dictated by feelings. Keep in mind when those feelings change Humanly 'that live ceases to exist'. But Charity (LOVE OF GOD) is based in a decision to love despite how one may feel. Agape is the Greek word for GOD'S LOVE. CHRIST dies while we were yet sinners (Roman's 5:8 KJV). Still longs to free Souls from the bondage of sin if they are willing as God is willing (II Peter 3:9 KJV). As for "loving" a Microphone, Desk, Couch, a pair of Jordan's, an iPhone, Facebook, Snapchat, BET, MTV, TMZ or NETFLIX....That is Idolatry and that is a foundation of lust. I refer back to one video you posted in 2012 that I acknowledged earlier as being transparent...It was entilted, "Close Your Legs". I recently came across it. I enjoyed it because you spoke on building on the right foundation. You spoke truth in it. You spoke on Building on a foundation of LOVE...Not "being in Love". You spoke on the wrong foundation which is "lust". I see this as being A Love vs Lust issue. ALL that's in the World is the Lust of the Eyes, Lust of Flesh and the Pride if Life (I John 2:16 KJV). Has something changed? JESUS CHRIST is the same (Hebrews 13:8 KJV). How can any of us stand In or On LOVE if we don't have the Very Foundation and Creator of Love which is GOD??? Yezzir!!!! I use this same logic of Love vs In Love. My ex did me and the kids so foul and I always tried to see the good in her and forgive often. I was upset for a while about her wasting my time and money but once I realized that I was able to love her more than I knew I could it made me feel better. I was able to learn a lot about myself and my soul. GOD then blessed me with a wonderful woman and 3 years later I’ve been able to Fall in Love with her give her myself like I’ve never been able to do and it’s the dopest thing ever! She’s worth it!

Listen to what Tony is saying: Some people still don't grasp this concept. Loving assigned purpose that God has given us is beautiful. To serve others as it is pleasing to God, to honor your spouse, to care for your loved ones IN LOVE fuels the spirit. For me, I can truly say, I can definitely relate to what Tony is saying now because I share with others that my purpose for what I do is unto God therefore it is bigger than me and not about me however the standard is that it must be done in love.
